Today I decided to fly to the tippy-tops of all the world tree roots in Harandar and around Amirdrassil I bumped into a cloud serpent named Aln’haran, who’s colored like a Remembered Wind Rider, so a little hard to see against the glowing sky. The serpent is friendly-green, but sucks the life outta you real fast if you get too close. It flies around in a circuit. I wonder if it’s like those other mounts, such as Alunira, where you have to find the thing to break its magic shield.
It is. You need to complete a side quest first to start getting the items however. At least I started to see them drop after I did the side quest. You need 500 of them but they drop relatively consistently in Harandar.
The side quest chain is called “The legend of Aln’sharan”. It begins with a Haranir child in the village that is underneath the roots of Amirdrassil.
