I hate it the same, it is a problem to shorten more the content you want to visit and know the lore by the expansions in order from your inicial character, in special for new players.
but unfortunately it cannot be avoided, the large amount of content for each expansion and the classic, and the increase of the allied races in BfA, makes it more complicated to one Lifeless like South Park Style, doing a leveling with so many areas is more than a challenge in the game, and you would make players who don’t have much time for video games more complicated, especially veterans.
rather, I agree that I am in any of the leveling expansions with Cromi.

I just hope they buff heirlooms with the same patch.
I bought them to skip leveling faster, and they’re completely optional.
Not denying that yes, but have people really thought about? are they squashing lvl’s to everything? are we able to do all content? like going back doing old raids above lvl 60? still and if so its going to be a bloody nightmare and problems galore sorry. Its no mean feat to squash every content from every Xpac without huge problems look at now it lags like hell people are dc’ing for no reason people are not able to connect to battlenet for no reason. I predict that SL will be a constant flow of emergency shutdowns.

If it works like they say it might be tolerable. I just know bad ideas and it wont be done right. The amount of work required to complete the changes gives me anxiety and I’m not even an employee.

Now, what can be feared of this new system, is to visit old dungeons and raids alone and without having problems to advance it by transmog, loot or complete old game contents, and timewalking.
Didn’t Blizzard say anything that will affect us, how will the level for each dungeon in expansion, all be lvl50 or will there be a decrease for every 3 expansions? Will it affect some items they used in timewalking such as the legendary or trinkets just for that timewalking expansion, in short … will everything be from lvl50?
If that is the case, it will be a bit complicated to do it just something that not many will agree or be are will disappointing to the way they get used to going to the farm or visiting the previous dungeons alone.

You’ll also still be able to go back and quest in whatever zones you want. They’re not going away.
They’re squishing the levels because leveling is currently completely broken if you haven’t noticed by now.
You mean the content thats literally already cut from the game, go walk around ANY of the older expansion zones and tell me its not dead content… its a ghost town bro until you hit Legion at least
Just like “war mode”, a level squish will not do anything if all they do is tweak numbers around.
There are a ton of things wrong with leveling - and the first pass they did recently made it more of a slog than anything.
