if it is worth it to you you’ll get it. if it’s not, you won’t. it doesn’t matter if you’re on disability or a multi millionaire. i don’t think it’s “worth it” to spend tons of money to go to a baseball game but plenty do. that doesn’t mean whatever the cost is is too much or too expensive to others. just that i don’t find value in it because it isn’t something important enough to me to want to pay for it.

Yes it does. It 100% does. The more income you have the more cheap things become. It’s all in the eyes of the person with the money. Things that were expensive to me when I worked at Dominos Pizza aren’t even close to expensive to me anymore now that I have a good career over a decade later. It may not work that way for you but it definitely does for others. A 70$ price tag may expensive for the teenager delivering pizza but to the guy with the 6 figure income 70$ may be cheap to them. To be clear, I am not claiming to have a 6 figure income. I am just using it as an example. But maybe I do you will never know!

I do understand. But be mad at blizzard and stop trying to convince the rest of us to be. I’m not mad because after well over a decade of playing WoW this is what I always expect them to do. It could have been worse. You should always expect this from blizzard.
One thing I find strange about all this is the original tbc which included a physical copy was actually cheaper. Throw in some toys and people lose their minds.

you hurt yourself. blizz stated certain things clearly a while ago. some people decided they could try to strong arm blizz into not doing what they already said they would. you should’ve been angry and left months and months ago. your own wishful thinking is what got you here. it’s not an insult to you either. blizz wants to make money and make the game more accessible. once the blue post confirmed the boost it was a done deal. some people refused to accept it. that doesn’t mean it wasn’t already settled.
Or think of it this way. $15.00 in 2004 is about $22.00 in today’s economy. Blizzard hasn’t increased the monthly subscription fee EVER. So We are basically saving $72.00 to $84.00 each year. I would rather have the CHOICE of spending that money on a Deluxe Edition, than HAVING to spend it on a subscription.

70 dollars is quite steep for some toys and not playing the game for 2 weeks (tbc 1-58)

Sure, thing is nothing in there is mandatory. As usual people mad at options. Not even options that were bad, not LFR/LFD with cross server groups, literally stuff they released before that does nothing and people get mad.
They also don’t want TBC out on june 1st, want longer prepatch, there is no pleasing these sad fans and that’s why blizzard all but ignores them cause listening to them is an effort in futility.

It’s worth it if you’re getting a boost. The boost plus a month of game time is $55 so you may as well grab the mount and two toys for an extra $15.
