Why? It’s not like people will be going to a lot of Christmas parties, or probably doing much traveling, at least not in the US.
At first he said it was a hoax making people perceive as such,then doubled down saying it was real but not as serious as people were making it despite there NOW being over 3 million cases,encouraging anti mask behavior,throwing his medical experts under the bus,doubled down again saying the virus is a conspiracy to make him look bad and NOW wants to reopen all schools before fall despite the fact that cases are getting worse and rising. Because of his failure to lead,constant playing the blame game,constantly playing golf [I do read independently ran newspapers that aren’t wank fests to trump or Biden] and failure to take this situation seriously, countries are closing borders to us for at least a month,maybe more [potentially long time ban from the EU] Also AGAIN don’t watch TV as I haven’t had cable in over 8 years I just know a bad leadership when I see one,especially a hate speech loving manchild who can’t admit he’s when he’s wron [ which is ALWAYS], republicans who are greedy,selfish piles of dirt and democrats who are equally greedy and the ones that aren’t have no spine to speak of, BOTH sides suck and failed this country,in term making our country a laughing stock to the rest of the world so I have every RIGHT to be angry and criticize.
Look at the numbers of other countries,they’re super low and ones that may look high are STILL low in comparison to us because guess what,they follow guidelines of social distancing,wearing masks,sanitizing and have leaders who DON’T treat their constituents like crap via paying them crap and playing favorites with lobbyist donors and corporations. They get to go back to normal but we don’t but hey keep listening to a reality TV show host and facebook Karens trying to peddle their anti vaxx products over REAL medical experts. Also inb4 I’m flagged to death and banned for alleged wrongthink/criticizing Trump.
TLDR- Covid is VERY real,a VERY real threat and people are dying,stop being dumb and believing paranoid bunker dwelling crazies.

I hope for the longevity of the game… its delayed…
so worried about another BFA.
It wont be delayed, they pretty much said its being released this fall regardless of if its 100 percent done or not.
SL will probably be delayed until Nov 3 . Covid 19 should end by then.
Because 3 weeks of delayed end game means it would release just before or during the holidays, and too late puts release too close to the holidays
That’s okay. I’d rather them be safe and with their families during this time of crisis. I’m not in any sort of rush!

I don’t see the problem with a release date as late as 12/15, especially if they leave raids opening until after the new year.
If they go with a long pre-patch cycle, even better.
Of course I’d be happier being in SL sooner than later, but I’d prefer late and more polished than sooner and less smooth.

Honestly, my hot take on SL delays is that it likely already was; covid probably pushed the release window back from august/september to november.

Whenever it is released is fine with me. I just want it to be good.
3 Months of Beta.
End of August season ends and start of September Prepatch releases. A month of prepatch would come to start/mid october. Which is completly in the time frame of the historical 3 months beta time.
November would still make sense somewhat but unlikely since they released Beta already. December is not Fall.
Solstice, the official beginning of winter, is on the 21st. The 15th is still the fall.
The first of December is already meteorological winter and like said I don’t think they will press 5 months of Beta as historically it always has been 3 months (in BFA even 2.5 months)
In some parts of the world, yes, the weather feels like winter at the start of December. in some parts of the world it’s just getting into the hottest part of the year.
But the calendar doesn’t care about that. Northern hemisphere winter officially starts on the Solstice.
They have to release it before December ends else they have to allow refunds to anyone who wants one. That is for first world countries with good consumer protection laws of course. How it works in America you wouldn’t know.
They will just rush it out the door with heaps of cut content exactly like BFA was before they give people their money back.
Ion has already talked about this, and said they’ve found their groove with having to work remotely and it hasn’t caused things to be affected that much. They will still be on time with the expac.
Barring any huge set backs, I think things will be just fine. They seem pretty confident on a release time.

I am ok with waiting for a good product… the thing that bothers me is when companies poop something out the door to make that sweet sweet christmas rush… I hate greedy companies selling me unfinished garbage.
Just give us Shadowlands even if it’s not yet fully finished, BFA needs to end, this expansion sucked over all.
Legion was much better.
