Had his “gift” for one day wanted to see what it felt like and oh boy was it rough he wouldn’t shut up always complained made GD seem like church so I dumped his gift in the great sea and got the neat toy.
We can’t surrender to the madness because Blizzard ruined the talent.
Sad but true, but hey at least you got it easy
They took away dark Arbiter and destroyed the fun out of unholy
I’m only playing unholy because frost is underperforming in pvp.
I don’t think this is strictly true.
I think N’zoth wants what most of the Void wants.
Not Death.
But corruption. Anything and everything coated and infused with it’s shadowy void power subjected to its foul and malefic influence.
But death? Death is what it’s trying to avoid.
Death appears to be the cosmic power that the Void actually fears as its “True Enemy”.
He killed deathing
Individual deaths are pretty meaningless to the Void and it’s upper leadership, sure. I’m not arguing that a follower of N’zoth should feel special and like the entity would care about their well being or that they would gain some kind of special protection. N’zoth won’t care if they die, and will kill them himself if it serves his larger goal and interest.
But from a cosmic perspective, the Void isn’t in this to cause death. It’s not its modus operandi. It wants and aims to corruption. On the grand scale it needs life to corrupt. Death and the cosmic domain of Death’s influence over Undeath and the Undead appear counter to what the Void wants, because Undeath and the powers of the Death domain that animate the undead appears to grant some forms of immunity and resistance to the Void.
N’Zoth needs us to axe his “queen” so he can stop listening to thousands more years of her complaining about how he never cleans, always plays with his friends and doesn’t touch his dinner and home work.
you make that sound like a bad thing.
Its the only way to save azeroth. Only N’Zoth is strong enough to defeat the lore armour alliance and horde have.
Sylvanas cannot kill Anduin. Anduin cannot kill Sylvanas. N’Zoth….can burn through that plot armour and kill them both.
And thus balance is restored.
.
It is a bad thing
From what I’ve heard from Bwonsamdi, Undead would be considered an abomination in Death’s eye.
Trapping souls in decomposed bodies and refusing their access to the other side, I am sure Death does not feel cheated at all.
Death and Undeath are two entirely different things, one plays a vital part throughout the cosmos, and the other would be considered the “Enemy of all”.
Do you have any evidence to prove that N’zoth has killed Deathwing?
I would forgive all of BfA’s faults if we get to see Azshara hit N’Zoth with a frying pan.
Go to the taverns of time. N’zoth makes deathwing impale himself
I kept the gift, and soon will be shown rewards beyond imagining, and wonders for the mind.
What if I killed you first
Glory to Arstotz… N’Zoth!
Why do your threads always have to be so pointless…?
You meant Infinite Dragonflights timeline verison? Adventurers that was bring by Nozdormu would witness a charred vision of the world. Causing to defeat Deathwing went very deadly and fail. Which I might thinks that rest of adventurers dies against Deathwing’s wrath. Thrall would used his last strength to use Dragon soul to stop Deathwing from destroying Wyrmrest Temple, causing Deathwing to fall to his death. I do not think N’zoth killed Deathwing when he could still use him.
Blizzard has defined the Death cosmology domain:
and there are equivalences from domain to domain…
Light cosmology uses Holy power and the Naruu are it’s arbiters
Void cosmology uses Shadow(Void) power and the Void Lords & Old Gods are it’s arbiters.
Disorder cosmology uses Fel power and the Burning Legion are it’s arbiters
Order cosmology uses Arcane power and the Titans are it’s arbiters
Life cosmology uses Nature power and the Wild Gods are it’s arbiters
and that leaves Death…
Death cosmology uses Necromantic power and the Undead are it’s arbiters
The comment we hear from Bwonsamdi is misleading. He personally doesn’t like the undead. And that’s fine. But we need to be aware that he is perfectly happy to create and use the Undead as weapons when it suits him, we see that multiple times across the expansion.
And it’s not 100% clear from his comments whether he hates all Undead, or just the ones that were raised with G’huun’s void corrupted blood magics attacking his temple. Plus, there is the real question of whether he’s actually a Death domain entity, or as a Loa that he may actually be a Wild God.
He’s not a fan of Sylvanas keeping the dead from him either, but… simply because one death entity wants something for himself doesn’t mean the broader Death cosmology takes that stance. The Old Gods fought wars among themselves for supremacy afterall.
But, I think the cosmology chart shows pretty clearly, Death is all about necromancy & the undead.
Hail Hy- err I mean Hail N’zoth!
