Premade VS Premade something that makes sense something that is missing From the Game nowadays.
You’ve reasoned yourself into a corner here and unfortunately you’re not the first one in this thread or forum to do it.
So:
- Queue-syncers are not good at the game.
- Queue-syncing is not about “better teamwork”
- Queue-syncers aren’t playing objectives
But:
- Queue-syncing is unfair
Well, if the people queue-syncing are trash and they don’t play objectives and they aren’t leveraging better teamwork; how are they winning all the time and what exactly are they doing that is unfair?
You can’t argue that a group of people are horrible at the game but also that they’re too good.
It was me who made the comparison first, to be fair (XD). I do not queue-sync epics.
At this point you are just redefining the english language, so i am going to assume to you are trolling. Also I’m not really a premade “hater”. I recognize that people would prefer to play with their friends and/or reliable teammates. Because unrated BGs matchmaking algorithm is basically “first come, first served”, people are going to premade or q-sync to get the teammates they desire.
If blizzard could implement some skill-based mmr, the game would be better. The LA Lakers vs the NBA all star team (basically a highly-skilled pug) would be a fair competition, even though its “premade vs pug”
I don’t know about Fair or Unfair.
is it unfair to trick the randomization algorithm into putting a coordinated team in the same battleground? If yes for who is it unfair?
A fair battleground assumption (reason it might be unfair)
:
- All teams are 100% random
(If Blizzard randomization algorithm takes into account healers, tank, dps, ilvl, classes distribution then how does it get impacted when multiple party of 5 are suddenly available at the same time?)
- Player communication is low
(Again with the algorithm, odds are getting 20 players willing to communicate will strongly advantage your team)
- The “Default” player will blindly follow the biggest group in their own team.
(in a premade, the pugs that aren't part of the premade will by default follow the premade because it is the big group in their own team, which reinforces the premade)
To add, as an ex-multiboxer in pvp, I feel this is the same level of perceived unfairness, getting blasted by 5 shaman multiboxer is unfair compared to being blasted by 5 players.
most of them wouldnt want to face eachother tho
And there is a reason why those kinds of wildly imbalanced games never get scheduled irl lul.
So why should we do them in the game
And oh no they are in fact horrible at the game individually. It’s why they wont take themselves to rbgs where they technically belong and stay queing randoms.
And the excuse they’ll throw out is that it just takes to long which is just complete nonsense because they have enough time to sit in randoms with the same group of people for hours every day soooo. they are in no shortage of people or time
Add ons and discord. Add ons that can automate targeting and automate way more of the game than they should. These groups only lose to larger and more organized premades.
Maybe say 3% of your wins are skill based.
Even if you want to hold your analogy and compare yourself to the lakers (lmfao), those players are tested for PEDs. If you’re “better”, you don’t need double the information and automation built into the game.
It helps with the narrative and coping of ‘why am I fantastically ineffective?”
Stealing the phrase ‘low res thinking.’ Best part of this thread!
The YMCA adults vs the Lakers was a fun analogy but you’re running away with it a bit here.
What is happening when premades face pugs isn’t a group of elite PvP god gamers akin to the Lakers facing pugs akin to the YMCA adults.
Premades are average players too. The more apt analogy is YMCA adults that are willing to play as a team, listen to each other and be willing to fill in for what the team needs (the premades) facing another group of YMCA adults who all want to play shooter and dunk all game and won’t pass the ball (pugs).
Horrible at the game but magically create “wild imbalances” when they play because they’re so good?
If Epic RBG’s existed I’d live in them. Unfortunately RBG’s are flag maps where my only options as a healer is to deathball every game. Gets boring really fast. I much prefer larger BG’s with more nuance and options for objective based PvP.
You can’t give an example of something unfair so you fabricate a neat fiction to explain how people you consider to be horrible players can beat you, which is that they cheat.
That’s some comforting mental gymnastics but it isn’t true. Also it’s unfair because of Discord lol? I think @Hirav said it in previous post here; having friends is an advantage in an MMO and that’s kind of the point of an MMO. Just because you don’t have friends to play with doesn’t mean the people that do are cheating or somehow being unfair.
About 40% of the time you are facing premades . The size of the groups vary and so do the results but you recognize names when you play enough games
Kinda ironic this coming from a Ruin player isn’t it ? When the Alliance queue times were low in BFA, you guys were the masters of queue drops .
This is hilarious. You are your own counterpoint. At the end of the day, you don’t stumble into a 95% win rate in fair and balanced matches
Even the lakers don’t intentionally go play in a random ymca league. The lakers have self respect, dignity, foresight, and critical thinking ability, so they aren’t caught dead in a YMCA. Their career would be a laughing stock if they were caught wrecking kids in a pick up game as a group.
Queue sync trash are shielded from this because 75% of players have no clue how heavily the house is stacked against them.
Kinda sad really
Yeah, these players had a ~50% win rate in random epic bgs and then they suddenly shoot up to a ~95% win rate. I wonder if anything sketchy is happening.
They have a ~95% win rate in random epic bgs. I wonder if these games are fair or not.
When these players do realize how the game is unfairly rigged against them, they stop playing.
Premade raids are ruining random bgs for legit PvPers. They’re destroying the health of the PvP community.
They legit PvPers should join a community . There are so many now
Random bgs are meant for players to jump in and play against other pugs. They’re not meant for organized premade raids. If people want to compete in organized premade raids, there are other outlets for that sort of activity (e.g. rated bgs).
The ultimate effect of premade raids vs. pugs in random bgs is driving players away from PvP. Perhaps it’s been a long time since you’ve been in a random group, but a lot of players will see that they’re up against a premade and simply quit. At best, they suffer through it.
I run solo games almost daily ( on both factions) as I have limited time and sometimes I can’t wait for groups to get ready and sync . I want to play 2-3 games and leave . I don’t care about CQ as I am geared so dosent matter if I lose.
It’s frankly really not as bad as we read about in the forums.
Pugs would probably have a better experience if they also played before premade raids are ready and synced.
Heh the good thing is that the quality of the pugs have improved . Now lots of pugs knows to take the scroll at Ashran . To run out of the side gate at IOC and glide down in the race to Hangar . To go straight to SR at Wintergrasp and if not enough healers , to go to BT to avoid the team fight .
All this thanks to the various premade leads we have.
IMO, fewer and fewer players are queuing for random epic bgs. There aren’t that many games going on anymore.
Out of 5 games, I ran into Deso twice. The other games probably had premades too.
