CONSTANTLY buy Flasks (phials they’re called now).
CONSTANTLY buy potions.
CONSTANTLY buy Sharpening Stones/ Writs.
Gems, EVERY TIME you get gear with a gem slot.
LW kits any time you run challenging content.
You’ll need the bonus runes from Inscription when you have the best gear made.
This list can continue if you want.
Or you can just admit your argument is so inept and ignorant of the facts of what it means to have access to professions, that there is no argument against it. All you have is “don’t play, just pay.”
We had 18 years of precedent to prove that isn’t necessary. Only losers pay someone else to play a game for them. You may be fine with, but I absolutely am not, and will not pay into that system.

Projecting your thoughts on others just to make yourself feel better i see? This expansion imho went back to the old ways by 50% while keeping stuff modern for the other half imho best expansion handsdown i love the best of both worlds they got going here!
Thanks for post. I have not bought df and my sub is active because i still enjoy classic. Post like this give some of us an idea on how the pulse of retail feels. It feels pretty weak right now.

Yeah I have no complaints. They took the good stuff from a variety of expansions and swapped things up and put more emphasis on mechanics. I mean outside some dungeons being slightly over tuned, i’m not upset at all.
Love it. A hundred people in here giving the guy the attention he wanted. Keep bumping this post saying just leave, lol.
I know it is hard for players that might enjoy retail to understand, but there are a lot of players that dont like it and if the occasional “i quit” post didnt exist one might assume that retail has finally fixed a lot of its problems.
Also most players do just walk away. The few “i quit post” could be cosidered the “tip of the iceberg”

Of course there are players who don’t like it. But that doesn’t mean the game is dead or dying or that they’re a majority or a sign of anything.
