You know Blizzard saw how big the problem was that they did two things:
- Implemented guaranteed shard drop off Sylvanas
- Stealth nerfs to Domination Bonus (… was reverted)
But that’s too late already because if they nerf the Domination Bonus now, alot of people will complain. The guaranteed shard drop of Sylvanas is an improvement but forgets the fact that not many people gets a chance at a Sylvanas kill, especially if you dont already have the shard bonus. Also, you will need to get lucky with the Domination Gear, which again is disadvantageous towards those were unlucky without shard bonus.
The solution is to give everyone shards and allow domination sockets to be inserted into every gear.
As usual… Blizzard is always behind the curve.
