Ok, so im dusting off my paladin and want to gear up exactly as I did my hunter and that is through delving.
Last season I tried it with Ret and just wasn’t feeling it. So how is Prot doing? How are you setting up your Brann? Mine will be lvl 100 when I start.
Current gear is bad right now at 653 with the belt. First thing im doing is getting the wraps of course and farming bountifuls as well as have a ton of those summoning stones for the weekly map.
Im actually looking forward to this as I enjoy Prot, but hate tanking in dungeons and raids since I dont play this character enough. So I overly focused on Ret which sidelined this character this expansion.
you should be fine in prot? basically immortal if you press buttons. garab the delve build from wowhead and just blast. it’ll probably take a bit cause prot does like 0 damage compared to all other tanks tho

Ran a couple 11’s. Had some rough spots, but as I get gear it will become easier
Hardest part of tank spec delves is staying awake during the final boss fight.

at some point you’ll start experiencing this lol even in m+, u just want to fall sleep. i mean, playing just 1 character, tanking all m+ to collect different type of gears with different sets of attributes sure will put you to sleep.

For one delve I did put Brann as healer. It was the one with the Swamp Thing at the end with all the spores. It took forever, but I never had to stress about healing. Doing 4 or 8 this week plus 2 heroic pieces and crafting a heroic weapon should help out. I havent even gotten any tier yet
Run 1 delve and go from no tier to 4 piece. Helm from the vault, BP from the map and 2 champ pieces in shoulders and legs. 2 more 11’s and I can get my sword

try giving him the nether clone or sand talent in his dps. it’ll drastically speed up your clear speed. the templar hammer should heal you plenty, along with light of the titans.
Tanking 5 man delves is a blast, give it a try.

Any tank spec absolutely outperforms all dps specs in delves. Dont need to be geared either

I have been tanking delves with Brann as DPS. His execute is powerful since I can heal myself.
