This spec really is worth what you put into it. its been one of the best dps specs all xpac and even after the nerfs they still hover around 3rd place overall in Nylotha. M+ there upper mid and same with pvp. The spec has its weaknesses but overall its a top contender and great progression raiding spec. Kinda just depends if your willing to put in the work or looking for a easier route.
i loved my shadow priest in legion not sure why i don’t like it that much now something just feels off with them lately.
If you’re leveling, you’re better off sticking to Holy or Disc. Holy with chastise and holy fire procs kills faster, at least from my experience at leveling all my priests, than shadow.

I’ve been leveling this one as Disc… Shadow is just slow and not fun.
I had wanted to understand the mechanics of the shadow spec better so I leveled one up to 70 and decided I was just done. Switched to disc and it felt more fluid from then on.
Yeah, something really was lost with all the changes. Hard to put my finger on it, but it’s there.
