I legitimately don’t understand why Blizz would give SP an AOE dot application tool and then only let it be used every seconds round of VT applications. “You can dot all targets in an AOE, but only half the time”
Insanity.
You can maintain dots on 8 targets with Crash alone.
Insanity is the name of our Shadow Priest game. Honestly at this stage it boggles the mind.

Because they used the tier set as duct tape to smooth out Shadow Crash frustrations for the tier.
Sadly in too many situations one realizes that while the situations with minor enemies, that will add up way over the cap, are too many.
That and mind sear back pls

is there any reason why it needs to be 2 charges instead of just having no cooldown or at most like a 6 second one? seriously i don’t get it.

A second charge is the barest we can ask and most likely the only way Blizzard would grant it.
it doesn’t seem like it would be op to just heavily reduce the cooldown to like 6s. if it does end up being too strong i feel like nerfing psychic link is the easiest tuning knob for that, but at least you would spend less time spamming effing vampiric touch in single target during an aoe encounter
