I’m not sure if the “soul” comment was related to my post but I don’t like layers and have a lot of posts saying so. It’s just that I’ve gotten the community experience I want with Classic and still do, and that’s why I’ve stuck with it for 3 years now.

There’s also no point in going totally into my thoughts on server communities when talking to a high population on these forums because it’s like talking to people on another planet. The outlook on pretty much everything seems so different than even when this was the TBCC forums and especially the Classic Vanilla forums. So it’s hard for me to relate to 95% of the forum population these days on things like this.

Yea thats not a thing. Even on Bene I regularly run into the same people in raids and 5 mans all the time

I’ve been surprised to see this on Faerlina horde now too. I remember names and have grouped with the same people multiple times. On a server this large it’s kind of crazy in a way but it does happen.

I personally don’t care for server identity. Cross-realm stuff is something I actually enjoy. Server identity is an old concept that rarely works nowadays. The only thing that gives a community feel for me is a guild and I’m fine with that.

i love when someone posts on lfg “don’t queue with xyz, they ninja”. Imagine if there was a world chat for the actual world and someone posted “don’t use the the cross walk button on this random street near calgary because it’s broke” ok I never ever was going to anyway.

Remember when everyone was outraged over layers, and they finally got rid of them in phase 2, only to sneak them back in as a permanent thing after tbc launch?

They didn’t sneak them back in, the forums erupted in a volcano of tears begging them to be re-added so people could actually play the game calling blizzard out of touch with their player base for removing them.
