Player housing will just turn into one of those weird Facebook games, with a bunch of anti social people. Player housing will be Blizzards final nail in its coffinS
That factually doesn’t matter. Even if they’re posing an anecdote, you would still be entirely wrong to claim that simply by virtue of having an achievement the plurality of players therewith would be unwilling to forgo the content to that achievement related in exchange for player housing. Which you did here:
This would be a hasty generalization, jumping to a conclusion without sufficient evidence to actually support your claim.
It can be a source, actually, it’s just a poor one and not necessarily indicative of the truth, hence people tend not to favor them over more exhaustive analyses.
Because it just seems highly unlikely to me. They would need to go into exact specifics of which features their engine lacks that they would need to add. I can’t think of anything player housing requires that their engine hasn’t already demonstrated the ability to do.
They openly admit that raid designs, have been limited by engine. Even Zones height, and designs. Art designs. The engine is holding them back.
If they can’t be creative with new ideas based on the engine. The best time invested is a new engine. Unless they feel they can copy and paste each expansion, because already the game is getting old.
New flying system, and crafting is the only thing really that is hyped. Everything else is same ol. Even if you take the whole talent and not borrow power system. People are going to get bored quick because they can’t expand based off “engine.”
