Does it feel like Tyran is way harder than fort this season?

Tyrannical is definitely more difficult from a healer’s perspective, but of course, it really depends on the performance of his teammates. I’ve healed +20s that felt like a cakewalk compared to +16s all because of the difference in play quality of the DPS and tank. It’s the one roll where you can be the greatest of all time but still feel like you failed in your responsibility. In season one, I could carry bad DPS to their vault reward. Season 2 makes that much harder and frustrating. Avoidable damage meters like elitism spell it out for everyone who is bad at the end of a run, and it’s usually that loud mouthed DPS who thinks he’s good because he was carried by healers mending his bad play through all of season one. I don’t think anyone should get an opinion on healing until they’ve timed every dungeon on at least a +20 as a healer.

This is how I remember it.

Before the whole “Fort-Tyr” was codified, it was just a thing in the M+ community that Fort weeks were the push weeks. Tyr was where you just “kept active.”

Because even on Fort weeks… stuff dies. It might take slightly more time to kill this pack or that one, but it’s not really a big difference.

Tyr is where you go from (sic) 90s/2min fights to these ridiculous 5+min fights. To the point where if you have a wipe on Fort, you’re still in it! But if you wipe on Tyr??? You’re out of time simply because boss fights take so flipping long.

That’s also compounded by the fact if you wipe on a boss, you inherently have the longest run back. So now you have the time against you for a VERY long run back, and a boss fight that’s going to take too long.

Tyr SUCKS and is WAYYYYY worse than Fort.

This. Ran an 18 UR today and struggled so hard on 3rd boss because on of our melees in the group was so random and sporadic with his Upheaval ability placement. Half the time standing right on/behind me >.<

That snake boss is stupid because there’s no indication he’s about to DoT you and it’s cast on a random target, so you can’t even turtle to avoid it.

Then the healer blames you for dying even though they’re the one that’s supposed to heal through the massive DoT.

They need to add an indication about who it’s being cast on so we can use a defensive right before it casts. Right now most we can do is use a -damage taken defensive after we have a DoT, but that rarely helps.

I would love for them to nerf the incoming damage of the snake on tyrannical. You wipe here, the key is GG on a 20+. People will probably still complete, but you most likely won’t time it because everyone is demoralized.
