Awwww… meanie
Its okay, you get fantastic casting animations
Honestly I feel like Draenei male casters are “wrong”. One does not get THAT buff and still find time to hit the books as much as mages would need to.
Yaungol are pretty good with the ol’ fire magic, and blood totem sure do like fel magic. Honestly Tauren should have Mages and Warlocks by now.
On topic, it’s more weird having any race being unable to be warrior. Like no individual ever got got at just hitting things with their sword?
BC blood elves not having warriors is more annoying.
We have machine guns, airplanes, spaceships, mechs, magic, et cetera.
We also fight monsters far too large for little melee weapons to really do any damage. The whole concept is stupid if you think about it too much; so don’t.
It’s a silly fantasy game. Just have fun.
Huge flex that all you need in the face of magic and machines is muscle and sword
i feel like in fantasy games/stories magic is like a resource there is only so much one can weild yet alone handle. think of it like an arcane mage running out of mana. so in that sense when you are say idk a paladin and run out of mana/magic your forced into just brute sword/board kind of playstyle thus where warriors come in.
in that sense though they hone their skills in sword/board style primarily where as say the paladins will use magic and swords/boards. the way i look at this is like a restaurant they are often well known for 1-2 dishes that they do best and the rest is basically just there for variety which they can do anywhere from good-mediocre. there are actual terms for these menu items i forget what they are called but i think some are “dog, horse, star” i believe the stars are the ones they do best, horses are the good ones that help carry the profits as well and the dogs are basically the scraps that are just there that very little gets ordered per day. EVERY restaurant has um.
does it feel wrong? compared to say like a paladin and priest fantasy wise yes imo. does it make sense why they exist as warriors? yes. being a paladin involves more then just relying on the light to fight
Because not everyone has magical prowess.
i love that thong
warrior is a frontline soldier that leads in battle. every race needs a meathead peon class to protect the more important pieces from being targeted first.
the difference between a warrior and paladin is that the paladin is more of a field general. the warrior class would fail their position if there wasn’t a more refined melee giving them orders.
I dunno, they make good shamans too!
There are draenei peacekeepers and Shatari warriors.
Even magic school has drop-outs.
Is it me, or does the guy on the left look bigger than normal?

Hi, Folks! Why is everyone so quiet? What’d I miss?
Guy in my guild has a female draenei warrior.
I want a female draenei warrior to crush my head with her thighs
Low tech people in a high tech society is not an uncommon theme.
Hell, it’s almost the core of William Gibson’s novels.
