Does DF have a rip cord?

Midway through, Dracthyr gains access to Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Mage, and Priest.

That may be the case. Haven’t tried it and my turn out to be just more useful. But from what I gather you need to launch from higher spots, can’t hover, can’t afk it, and it’s helpful to have a planned route.

And even with regular flight, nodes pop up after you pass them.

Sure soar and dragon riding in Azeroth.

Na, like damn near everything wow if the main chute don’t open. Sucks to be them.

There was never any ripcord. Ion just made the term up to deflect anger towards SL development.

Ripcord is a fix they do on the final patch we asked for from beta

so then they will remove the 3 pt talents from druid class tree and give dh actual talents?

I have literally seen this happen with the current loot system.

Does DF have a rip cord?

yeah…we call it ‘unsubbing’ in here.

The only rip cord I can see is people just wanting regular flying over dragon riding depending on how dragon riding goes. I do not see Blizzard pulling that rip cord at all though.

Yes, but in the current loot system (PL) you can only blame bad RNG and Blizz. In the new loot system (GL), the power is returned to the players so it will cause conflict if someone does it intentionally and doesn’t offer to share the loot.

So you are saying in the new system there is no RNG involved?

(you cant intentionally win loot outside of RNG. just like the current system)

Yes, RNG is involved. But the proper etiquette would probably be to pass or share loot after you get 1 or 2 pieces…so rolling and keeping every piece will definitely cause conflict.

Ok. How is that different today with the current system?

With the current system, I am able to roll for loot on every single boss. Regardless of how much I have already won.

No. In the current system, you are forced to roll for loot on every boss. In the new system, you are choosing to roll. The difference is pretty obvious.

So in the new system, I can choose not to go after loot with every boss.

So that sounds…better?

System 1 : Forced to roll for every boss

System 2 : You can choose to (or not to) roll for every boss

But system 2 is worse, because a person might get too much loot?

Yes. Because they are intentionally choosing to try to take all of the loot for the night. In PL I can’t blame the other player because they have no control over what they get.

If you choose to try to take all the loot and not share everyone is likely to get mad and your raid is probably going to fall apart.

So you are advocating for a worse system, so that when the worse thing happens…you can blame Blizzard?

Um. Ok?

Exactly. I would much rather blame Blizz for a bad loot system than learn that someone in my raid is intentionally depriving other players of loot instead of sharing.

Blizz giving someone good RNG for the night doesn’t cause conflict. Someone refusing to share loot does…which was the point of the original post.

Maybe the charge up time of the dragon riding resource. Vigor or whatever.

Seems too long to me.

It really should be like 10 seconds or something. Hit the ground, it recharges quickly, and you’re back at it.

I’m sure it’s the way it is because they want to slow us down.
