Does Blizzard understand percentages?

RNG makes the hamster wheel go round and round.

I appreciate the breakdown, however I am curious, did Blizz ever confirm this?

Of course they do. It’s a big money earner for them.

I only recently started messing around with pet battles and I have nearly a thousand charms at this point. They pet battles out in the world frequently have the charms as rewards. Personally I like the + level charms instead but I am still leveling up some pets.

That’s a good reminder. I usually don’t bother with my alts anymore, but this is a good reason to load them up.

Very cool I’m sure it will! GOod luck!

While I appreciate all of the responses here, I am still not convinced of being incorrect on this…
Basic math (the kind you learn in elementary school) dictates that if you have a 90% chance on a mission, this translates to only a 1 in 10 chance to fail that mission, and by the same notion an 80% chance only a 2 in 10 failure chance, etcetera.
I can agree that a 10% chance is possible, but I maintain that it should not be the majority of the time. If there is a 1 in 10 chance to fail, or a 2 in 10 chance to fail, you should not be able to assume failure on every mission, irregardless of what has been posted here.
If you fail a 90% chance once, that is understandable, but if you fail a 70%, then an 80%, and then a 90% chance in a row, there is a problem with their math!!
