+18s to +20s are not problematic keys for any tank, and aren’t a good gauge. +18s to +20s since they started reseting the scale between every season have never been as easy as the current season.

Top Blood DK in mythic + is 3732. The top VDH is 3877. In short, because I don’t think you have the wherewithal to grasp this, BDK is performing at the same level as VDH even though VDH is currently overtuned and loaded with utility with double sigils. Furthermore, BDK is significantly better in progression raiding.

Now do M+, this season which was part of his point. Which was decently obvious when he brings up damage, speed, and CC which are much more important for a tank in M+ than raid.

Edit: before you bring up the fact that BDK does high keys again. That doesn’t address the point of CC, damage, speed, and their opinion that VDH is more smooth.

But as predicted you bring the same info that doesn’t address the OP’s point.

Let’s see if you can make a counterpoint that DH isn’t faster, doesn’t have more CC, doesn’t have smoother gameplay, and doesn’t have more damage than BDK.

It’s also ironic since BDK has been one of the preferred tanks in raids this entire xpac, far above VDH.

Because dh is such a strong dps class and not because bdk is strong.

I don’t argue, but it only effects less than 1% of the playerbase. 99% of the people who make these types of posts and whine about their class/spec don’t play at a level where either matter. If they simply learned to actually play well they could easily complete everything they wanted.

p.s. these are the same people who whine about a meta and do everything to reinforce said meta, it’s hypocrisy on a grand scale.

So you agree VDH is meta and BDK isn’t? Meta typically means a certain specs shine above the rest, so you agree with OP (and everybody else) VDH is better in M+ than BDK?

For the tenth time, not that BDK is unviable, just that it is harder to do the same things as VDH in M+. Glad we got that settled.

Some of the reasons VDH is meta is because it is faster, more mobile (not constrained by DnD), has more CC, can survive better, and possibly does more damage. Who said that earlier?? Oh yeah, the first post:

If its not meta then its unviable to the majority because they follow the meta that is set by people where most will never see. Thats the issue with “meta” followers, people pushing these tier lists, logging and putting a score on people, it all leads to people looking at what classes / specs are at the top and all others you should avoid.

Meta chasers are just what used to be called FotM players and werent taken seriously.

They need a new purpose like got IN Legion. Maybe they become “Void Hunters” and give them a talent that shifts all their skills that depend on demon-type mobs to aberration-types when taken.
