The reason you feel this way and everyone feels like it is forced exposure is actually culturally driven. We are not use to talking about it so it feels awkward or taboo to talk about it. Not to get into the topic too much the important part is that we need to talk about these subjects because they need to feel like they are no longer taboo because right now they are this culturally agreed upon taboo that hurts members of our society.
