You finally get an item and toss it out in a week.
As I said before, gear is already meaningless in wow, it is not prestigious - even end boss mythic raid loot such as Jastor diamond carries no prestige because people can just use real money to buy wow tokens and purchase mythic raid boosts for gold.
Zero loot in this game holds any prestige - it is all meaningless - so let us obtain it quicker as it is irrelevant anyways.
Seeing a person with house of cards and Jastor diamond on myth track doesn’t inspire awe like the warglaives of azzinoth - it just says “hey that person bought a lot of wow tokens.”
I mean, guilds have been selling Hall of Fame titles to other guilds for quite some time now. Even hall of fame has no meaning.
