Same. I’ve been playing this character since vanilla.
Wow, I’m not the only one to do this it appears.
I logged last night to re-do the looks and such, and also today to delete and make a new 3rd toon. I am set on the first 2, but keep changing my mind on the 3rd. I highly doubt any of my names would get taken, but its more of a “can’t wait to play with my new toy” sort of thing I guess.

I’ve logged back in just to look at them at least a dozen times since reserving names, I thought I was crazy too lol.

I only visit them about every 45 minutes or so just to make sure they still exist. Because, you know, doing it every 44 minutes is probably just a bit over the top.

I’m doing the same thing every few hours. Just launch classic, look at my toons, close it, repeat later. 13 days starting to feel like a year already.

I just check to confirm that they’re on the right server once every few handful of hours. I’m terrified they’ll decide to migrate without my permission. D=

I have like 11 no 12 times…wait that was just this morning…still hoping for the start menu not to be greyed out…like maybe the next time it will glitch and I can log in and get a head start or something

Have you tried shift-clicking? It worked for me but I didn’t want to play and then get my name banned.

I did it yesterday a couple times when I got home from work. I suspect I will do the same tonight and every night leading up to release.
Lemme get some opinions on something I’ve been grappling with. I have my Druid and got a name for him that I am satisfied with, but I think I have a name that “fits” him better and am thinking about remaking him with the new name. My issue is this: What if the new name is unavailable and when I try to go back to the current name it is gone? Should I take the risk of losing my current name to try and get the new one? What do y’all think?

When I ressd my 3 names I just did the name day 1.
Waited until the next day and 1 at a time deleted, chose race, appearance, class and then applied name. This was a minimal risk as the chances of someone yoinking your name after its been available for at most 60 seconds is pretty stinking low.
