With Frostburn+Icy Veins+Deathborne running, do you still use your fingers of frost procs? Or is it better just spamming frost bolt into brain freezes and more frostbolts?
PVP and PVE, though I’ve found saving the fingers for exploding someone is better in pvp.
When Deathborne is up, if there is 3+ targets, you’d want to spam Frostbolts and even shatter your BF proc with Frostbolts. When a few seconds are left of Deathborne, let your Ice Lances loose.
If it’s 2 targets or single target, it’s normal rotation.
What if ur running splitting ice talent for cleave?
Normal rotation. Splitting Ice is baseline for every fight except for pure single target, which would be Comet Storm talented.
The rotation only changes slightly when you pop Deathborne during a 3+ mob battle. Otherwise, everything is the same.
So at 2 targets its normal rotation using fof, but at 3 targets you just forget ice lance and boom frostbolt until the last secs on deathborne.
Pretty much. That’s rule of thumb. Use the Frostbolts to shatter FoF too. The idea is to stack up as much of Death’s Fathom as possible. If you’re moving around a lot though, lances are handy.
Indeed. Thats what i thought. Ive been doing normal rotation with fof for st and 2 target, then 3 target spamming FB with shatters of course. But it always feels bad bc id rather spam fb for st to get big IL at the end of death. But o well.
