Do you expect to hear any more Wrath news before Beta? Do you think they will address the community response to not having TBC era realms and removing RDF?
We may hear something. It’s hard to say for sure.
Only if they change their minds or if they are thinking of doing so. We will hear nothing if this isn’t the case.
They may say more about things on the WoW Community Council forum instead of here, but the “Classic” people over there have largely disappeared and you’re much more likely to hear Dragonflight talk on that forum.
This is being realistic based on Blizzards history.
I would assume the majority of information comes from interviews and not an info dump from blizzard.
Well we already got a response re the LFD removal. It was in a Twitter post from Brian and was essentially, “suck it or go to retail”.
I don’t think they made their minds up on the TBC era realms yet.
Yeah, well Brian’s an idiot whom doesn’t even know how the system’s he’s thinking about altering work. (Literally proven when he tried to state he wasn’t sure about allowing people to swap speccs mid fight with Dual specc, something you literally could never do.)
Personally I hope they realize how absolutely stupid they are being and reverse course, but blizzard has a bad habit of refusing to admit they were wrong, and refusing to reverse bad decisions for years until said bad decision decays away at their playerbase and suddenly they -have- to address it, and end up giving the community what they wanted, far to late.
they demonstrated their ignorance of system design by making their own untested arena system from parts of retail and tbc with values designed for a TBC only system
ROFL!

It’s been my experience the more feedback we give the higher chance we’re together to give or get a response so the short version hard to say
I like to rely on Facebook.
Yeah it’s nice.
Useful for those who don’t go there.
Pro setup. Not sure why Cisco and other gods of the IT world never caught on to that. As one really wants to hit up Facebook to find out about their stuff. $2500 devices, hundreds in annual licensing….hit the social media y’all. We cba to send changes to the webmaster or post it on our site.
Aunt Ruth?
Is that you?
Honestly wouldn’t surprise me. They are likely more active on social media platforms than this cesspool lol.
Before the beta no, I think we will hear lot’s during the beta tho.
I was being facetious.

You mean trolling? Sir this is a serious place. Back to Facebook with you.
About the same really.
I do expect to hear more WotLK news, as bad as it sounds the collectors edition hasn’t been announced yet so we can expect that.
My wager would be that they talk about something like plans for Wintergrasp or something else that would be relatively “safe” to talk about…
They’ll almost assuredly avoid ever mentioning LFD again, whether it’s in or not… and I can’t see them touching racials despite the certainty than EMFH is going to be dramatically overpowered in pvp (and orc/troll are going to be far and away pvE bis)
Only other “smaller” issues I can see them going after would be:
-
One interesting issue that may or may not end up being a thing is that Pservers have DW unholy outperforming 2h unholy in every instance save the 2h user having Shadowmourne. Blizz explicitly posted in og wrath that if DW was ever better, they would nerf it. The flip side of that is that they’d have to change how some talents work.
-
Some form of a plan to fix Strand of the Ancients BG, specifically Southern Graveyard captures effectively guaranteeing a loss on offense.
-
They hinted they where aware of this, but it didn’t seem like they where ready to do anything about it, but Dungeon Boosting. I could see them announcing a change that effectively kills dungeon boosting.
Till then you can preorder your several hundred dollar helm of domination.
It does look cool I will grant. not several hundred dollar cool to my tastes. which I have bought “toys” at that price as a hardcore otaku. still in box to see if price goes up is why lol.
Remember when they brought out TK and SSC, but the final boss had some bug that made him unbeatable, and Blizz put in the live patch anyway, then when players realized something was wrong they made posts about it, then “Kaivax” admitted that there was bug they couldn’t fix and didn’t know how to either, yet they still put it in the live patch without telling anyone and hoping that no one would notice ?
Or do you guys all have short term memories ? Because that is the standard of communication they now hold themselves to. So even if we hear something about WOTLK it still not may not be the whole truth.
