2 to 4 , just because raid is kinda fun for me.

everything else is super meh - do most of the things out of habit, no fun involved.

Nine. Remove weekly lockout on Torghast. Add gear progression and gear rewards to Torghast. I love this thing.

It is nice for making alts.

Alts you make hoping 10.0 is better lol. 1(10) to 50 ain’t so bad. its that 50 to 60 (then slot machine gear up after 60 ) after that has you go ugh. You know, the shadowlands part…

My rating would improve 9.3 maybe. when its gimme welfare gear time. To prep for 10. and legion if promises kept works the way 2 expac back content is supposed to.

I know the many nighthold mythicc bosses need at least 3 minutes. my druid is lego’d for 1 minute cd for convoke. I use it…3 times, at least.

This is not how 2 expac content ran before squish. BFA to Wod. 3-4 hits floor break for Blackhand. 3-4 hits second floor break, 3-4 hits dead Blackhand. 9.3 gear jsut sped this up. You could drop him on floor 1.

3 to 4 hits. Hits…not rotations even.

Honestly, I give it a 1. As a guild leader, I’ve never seen my guild dissipate so quickly. Granted I was not around for the launch of BFA and came back toward the end of it. The end of BFA was great and my guild came around and we had fun. But shadow lands just simply terminated us (as well as many guilds).
If this game is going to succeed, Blizz need to pull their heads out of their fart box and get rid of cross realm. They need to bring back server community. Of course certain servers will succeed and pull a vast amount of players. However, there are also ways to fix that. They are just simply lazy and can’t be bothered to do it.
The whole “we can’t balance every class to run what you brung” is a bunch of BS. They can, they are just lazy and can’t be bothered. Every class of equal gear level should be able to do the same dps (minus certain mechanics). I could run this damn company better than it currently is and I don’t have any modicum of business management knowledge.

Prior to the patch, I was kind of opposed to the concept. After playing the patch, and seeing how much influence raid loot has, how 239 or even 226 raid loot beat 252 gear, even in content like M+, the idea of gaining high ilvl drops from Torghast doesn’t bother me in the slighest because A) Torghast is fun and B) raid loot is superior anyways so we wouldn’t be opening up the flood gates to raiders whining about “Needing to infinitely grind Torghast”.

solid 4 maybe 5 for me… content is bland. more systems than we had in BFA which isnt fun at all. arbitrary time gate. borrowed power. “New” class spells that are mostly useless. gearing is terrible, especially pvp and honor gear. Choreghast is boring. They arent listening to their base at all and it shows.

I’ll rate 6/10–no more than that. It does have a lot of issues, but not the same as WoD.

Yes, WoD is the worst of all expansions.

this expansion was suppose to be the grand character customization expansion, very disappointed with what we got , almost feel lied to , 3/10 tops.

I would give it a 4/10 at best.

Dungeons and raids are ok. Class are ok I guess.

But the covenants are crap and I just cant play Elemental because the last Soulbind I have is useless for that spec and the overall Venthyr just doesnt work. Basically the expansion has put a wall between players and a part of their characters.

I tought the devs leaned their lesson from BfA, but I can only suspect they just dont care or are literally limited in their cognitive functions.

Well, Ion’s the leader of the team. That says a lot.

Giving it a one would be an insult to the number one.

7.5/10 slightly above average expansion. Far better than WoD and only slightly better than BfA.

  • Covenants are a nice a addition, but I hope we keep the abilities after SL

  • Excellent world building for the Covenants and Shadowlands.

  • The Maw (9.0) was pretty fun to do. Nice solo content that was challenging when you didn’t have 200+ gear.

  • Torghast (9.0) was “OK” had little motivation to do it for anything other than soul dust. 9.1 Torgast is much more fun to do now. Even better than the mage tower.

  • Korthia is great to get heroic tier gear without needing to set foot in M+. But it does take more time.

  • And I’m loving the afterlife setting.

  • black skin tone Blood elves. :+1:t4:

Downside:

  • Story is “meh” I have come to terms since Cata that Blizzard are not the best storytellers.

  • Anima was a big chore to grind before the hotfix

  • Long 6 month gap between 9.0 and 9.1

  • Conduits and soul binds are meh to me.

  • if you’re not an Orc, night elf, or human you got to eat #&@@ when it comes to racial customizations.

Overall, I like SL. Plenty content I can do alone and I dont have to work or group up with anyone.

I hated the first part, where we collected anima for the covenant buildings and for recolors. Chains of Domination has me excited again because I like Korthia and the new raid is better. And it’s become easier to gear up, the story isn’t bad, there’s better mogs, and I like the new m+ scoring system.

1/10. Played 1 char to 52 and cant stand another minute. The game feels like a chore, I log on for 5-10 mins then start feeling like I have to be on autopilot to play. I can’t narrow it down to specific things either, just everything I have seen since intro to bastion made me not want to play until next expac, hopefully it gets better next expac but until then probly cancel sub. I know people can say you havent seen the endgame and such but honestly how much better could it get when I cant even force myself to play 10 mins where i am at now. And I mean I reallly have to force myself. I would rather watch paint dry.

I give it 6.5.

Lots of potential spoiled by clumsy and brutal slow down features.

Is Lwag going to be 8

At this rate, it might be my last WoW expansion. I didn’t like how this “de-pruning” expansion started off by pruning my blessings and pruning several passives so that they could be “given back to me” as pathetic auras.

I found out I don’t like afterlife settings when they don’t feel like an afterlife. I also don’t like it how rather disjointed each of the covenant zones feels. Not that they’re themed differently, but that they seem to be operating in completely different realities at times. As it is, “The Shadowlands” just feels like an awkward alien world, and not the destination for spirits after mortal death.

And the story… I don’t expect greatness. I’m not sure anyone playing WoW does. But I shouldn’t be hating the story because it’s so stupid.

I don’t really give ratings, but I think you get the idea how I feel. I’m still playing because of friends I’ve made. If I quit, because of the kind of person I am, I’m likely to lose touch with them (I’m bad at keeping up with people, much to my own dismay) and so I stick with WoW for that. For now.

Shadowlands: 2

The zones are beautiful and the music is nice. But the borrowed power systems are atrocious, the systems are overwhelming, the world quests aren’t fun, Torghast feels bland, the story itself is bad, and the lore completely ruins so much of the pre-established lore.

its better than BFA but thats a really low bar, and most people lost all tolerance to blizzards usual shenanigans with BFA so SL is looked at a lot more critically than other expansions.

i think thats a pretty fair rating but i know people will rate it worse, especially if they played BFA before playing SL.
