Do You Tab Out?

I tab out every single time. It’s what I find particularly annoying when devs do something like remove portals to “make the world feel large”. It’s just a straight up waste of my RL time. I’m not playing their game during those times and it makes me less likely to play in the future… not more.

I tab out whenever I take a taxi.

I also tab out when I queue for something with a time of 15+ minutes. I just sit in the proving grounds for the duration so the queue does not pop by accident sending me to the back of the line.

I have two screens so no need to tab out.

Yes and it’s exactly why I HATE not having flying. It’s so disengaging to hop on something you have zero control over and wait…and wait…and wait… You do your 5 minute WQ then teleport to another flight path to do the same.

I can’t wrap my head around the fact people argue against flying. It’s just ridiculous.

Even during loading screens: I’ll alt-tab, or make lunch, take a bio-break, or do one of a dozen things I have time to do while Blizzard utilizes their ability to make as much of my available game-play time unproductive. Of course they would never do that intentionally.

I don’t tab out. However, that is only because I have multiple monitors. I just switch screens. The game is still visible on my primary screen.

Yes, I tab out.

In the game and the real world, I tend to tune out if I’m not in the driver’s seat. Just wake me up when we get where we’re going.

I tab out on flying mounts too. You really only get interactivity on the ground.

Everyone tabs out, including people who claim they find taking flight paths to be engaging content.

How many households would have sinks full of dirty dishes if we didn’t have flight paths to take?

I pet my cat. He has a bed on my desk and whenever I’m not mashing buttons he gets up and demands petting.

If you tab out on a flying mount you could run into fatigue and die. I used to do that…back in BC but stopped after I died a few times.

Plus when I fly I can land ANYWHERE I want to do whatever I want. It’s all about control.

I’m on a flight path right now. Though I have two screens so I don’t technically have to tab out.

Tab out —> forums —> sometimes forget I’m playing WoW.

I tried that once, but having a second display next to my main display was very distracting and annoyed the fel out of me. Within a week I disconnected it and put it in a closet.

I have two monitors. I’m almost always effectively “tabbed out” and not paying full attention to the WoW window.

I’ll take it. If having two monitors has taught me anything, it’s that I need three monitors.

pretty much every time I flight path it, I am tabbing out and surfing in the background

Idk, I tab out all the time during the game. Flight paths are so fast it’s kind of a pointless question.

All the time. Likely to check the forums.
