I have come full circle.
When I started in vanilla, I rolled a druid to be a cat.
When I realized that resto was the only viable spec, I played it. I did enjoy it, but I went back to feral whenever viable/practical.
Edit: I probably should have mentioned that I switched to Frost mage in late tbc, and then mid wotlk I basically stopped playing for like a decade. When I came back at the end of DF, I picked up the druid again.
That same druid is what I consider my “main”, and I switched from resto to feral this season.

My first character got deleted.
Made a dwarf paladin, moved to an orc hunter. Became a blood elf paladin main TBC, stayed there for a long time.
Went back to my dwarf, realized he was broken beyond all repair because I was such a noob when I made him. Deleted him lol

I made about 10 troll hunters in TBC before I settled on Belf rogue. My Belf rogue is now a goblin rogue, but he is still there and is at max level I just only play him sometimes.

you’re lookin’ at her. though she’s been through some changes since the start. began on stormscale realm as a human named Widdow. had a race and name change (a Belf named Araignée) when i jumped servers to gorgonnash with my friends. that said, she isn’t my very first character. the first was a troll warrior, he’s level 53 now so i do play him…slowly…lol

No sadly. My first character was on a shared account with my brother and that account is long gone. But I did just sort of remake them on my own acc when I was old enough. Since wrath though, I’ve consistently played dk.

My first character was a mage, I level them each expansion but don’t play them. My second was a priest and has been my main since WoD. They were made sometime in January 2005. Two of my other most played characters are also from the same time, my rogue and lock, with the last one, my DK, being made when they first became available.

My original three were a night elf hunter, a human fire mage, and a troll warrior. All three are level 80 and geared up to season 2 mid-heroic standards, though I haven’t played any of them in season 3. I’ll probably get around to it eventually, but none of them are my main currently.
nah, deleted a long time ago. iirc the Sen’jin server, was a female troll. pvped a lot and was terrible at everything. started a guild war with that character though and that was fun. 
My first character, Missvanpelt, is my main.

Retired in Wrath. It’s a nice time capsule of those times. All the loot is TBC and Wrath stuff. It’s like getting in a time machine when I login sometimes. Love it.

I made two toons when I first started playing, a troll priest and a human paladin.
Still treat the paladin as my alliance main, but the troll has fallen to alt status when I discovered shaman who in turn fell to alt status to this guy.
Still play her though, in fact was going to start leveling her to 80 in a week or so.

My first Alliance Character, a dwarf hunter, yes i still play him. Not as much as I could but I do make it a point to get him to max level each expansion.
My first Horde character? Nope. That troll shaman was deleted quite a while ago.

I was a male undead Priest initially, then changed to female, I actually don’t like it much so prolly gonna go back to dude town on this toon.
Love my Priest, this baby is my PvP toon, killed so many Alliance. Normally Disc but Holy in MoP was the best fun, damn I miss PvP from days gone by.
This toon has been partially benched due to my new Goblin Priest getting the attention.
Why 2 Priests you ask? Who said I had just 2?

I’ve been slowly leveling my original toon, a hunter who’s probably been half of the races at this point. Tashi here is my third original toon and have mained her since DF (Wrath toon originally, along with my belf paladin).
my first character was a boosted mage in level 90 and my first mount was a store bought winged guardian.
No, My very first character was deleted years ago. I’ve remade their likeness and I still play that character but the actual very first character I ever made is gone.
My first character was a human paladin I created to play with friends. My second character was this character because I wanted to see what the Horde were up to since nearly every quest was different for both sides back in Vanilla.
But I started to spend more time on this character then the paladin due to friend drama and eventually just shelved her because of the mounting drama and not wanting to deal with it in game.
I eventually dusted her off back towards the end of BC but she never became my main. I’d just level her and a few other alts after this character was done with the campaign. And right now, she’s just sitting at 70 because I use her to run older raids and dungeons for mogs and mounts.
This is my first character and I still play him every day. He’s my main.
His original realm is Shadowmoon though.
