All I ever saw was “roll for it,” personally. Of course, with its drop chance, “all I ever saw” means “once.”
Just so everyone’s aware, the Pristine Hide of the Beast is an epic item that goes directly to whatever roll method or master looter is set up for the raid; it does not appear in the skinner’s inventory like a normal skin.
