Do you play gacha games?

I play Cookie Run Kingdom.

My daughter started playing it and at first I thought it was kind of dumb. But after she convinced me to finally give it a try, I got hooked. I love having something I enjoy on my iPad and I don’t care if I can’t be Grand Master 1. I spend a little bit of money and it’s usually not anymore than what I spend on WoW.

I have no idea what those are, so probably not.

Yes genshin and star rail

wow was always a gacha game. loot rng is gacha, less rewarding then gacha games though. gacha games at least have bad luck protection.

I used to play genshin but I’m too susceptible to fomo marketing via adhd impulsivity so I quit

Once upon a time? Yes.

These days? No.

Gacha is a scam.

I play Goddess of Victory: Nikke for the story.

A few. Mainly just Azur Lane, but sometimes a bit of Raid: Shadow Legends. Used to play Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, but it’s getting shut down soon.

genshin is less perverted then leage tho.

Nah, never have and likely never will.

They feel more like gambling than games.

i like gambling so the mobile ones like neir/dragalia/nikkei are fun, but I am (somewhat) mentally healthy and can resist throwing money at them for “fomo extra spins rare 1 day only swimsuit blue’s clues crossover perv skins”

i’ve never paid money into a gacha. i’d rather flip a coin and throw it in the sewer if it lands heads

rumble is gacha-ish regarding these practices but there was something wrong with it because i didn’t remotely care about chasing anything. at least in the others I could sense that sweaty urge to collect things. probably was just a slow burn strategy and trying to fly under the “taking kids’ lunch money” radar without ruffling too many feathers along the way.

I don’t even know what that is, and at this point, I’m afraid to ask.

video games with gambling.
