It doesn’t mean anything. You can buy your way to all +20s, or be a terrible player and still get all 15s timed.
IO isn’t a great way at all to tell who is skilled. It means almost nothing really.

I get what he is trying to say, io doesn’t mean anything and you “could” have good players with LOW io and vice versa but people that actually do the content and pug know that’s usually NOT the case…
That’s if someone only goes by score. RIO is much more than just a number. You clearly don’t understand how to use the tool properly.

I don’t use RIO or whatever that weird tool is I’m only going by the in game IO. From what I’ve heard of rio tho it can be manipulated a lot.
“From what you heard”? Explain how it can be manipulated when the score directly reflects what Blizzard’s Score is.
People find ways around those tools at times.
Just to clarify, 3k io players are not good players in the grand scheme of things.
If someone is 3001 io and stopped pushing I’d expect as much from them as a 2000-2500 io player.
RIO Score = Blizzard’s Score. “People fine ways around” is not explaining how it can be manipulated. You basically heard a tin foil hat theory and went along with it.
If someone is 3000 on Blizzard’s own website then they are also 3000 on RIO’s website. Except RIO will have much more information. Number of runs, group members, time on the run, ect.

That’s good to know. I personally can’t stand the community when it comes to keys as I don’t know all strats, have all addons, invis potions all the time, and whatever else. Nor do I know whatever other weird strats people expect you know.
Pugs tho are obviously never a guarantee of course. The only best way to run keys is more then likely with btag friends and/or guildies I can imagine. No idea why skilled players would even want to risk running keys with a pug unless you are willing to accept they may troll you and drop the key off the bat for fun.
They pug it so rats like me can get in there and scuff their key.

No, but I was pugging +20s all 3 seasons. Never met an actual troll in over 1000 keys.
.1% and MDI players are not puggers.
