My favorite pizza is garbanzo bean, shrimp, and cinnamon toast crunch.
Don’t the beans roll off the pizza?
Objectively false. There is something in bugs that the human body can’t digest and it is proven and shown how people get really sick after.
Not if you glue them down with a quick and decisive snot-rocket.
See: Lobster, Crab, Scallops, Mussels, etc.?
Don’t EAT the shell, easy fix.
It’s not meat.
I do, the impossible burgers in particular are quite tasty and the mouth feel isn’t off-putting.
I can tell a difference in those burgers (the only thing I’ve tried), but they’re pretty good. It’s a different flavor but I like it. They’re really salty though.
If they can expand aquaculture for scallops and mussels, we’d be in a good spot. They’re way carbon negative since they extract it from the water to build their shells.
Not really. You cook it all together. They work into the cheese.
alright thanks, my brother lies to me about the randomest stuff lol
I used to be terrified of wasps bc he told me if I got stung i’d die
For real, if there was a bug-eating industry we would have “de-shelled” bug meat. These vegans living in communes scooping ants out of a mound may have be preparing this stuff poorly but I imagine if this became industrialized they’d figure out a way to make it safe.
There’s some sort of anti-communism propaganda going on here. “Muricans eat cows” and people want to convince themselves that science supports eating two triple cheeseburgers a day.
I mean, if you’re allergic a sting can be bad! But bison aren’t poisonous.
No I don’t
No. Not crustaceans.
Well what if they’re a plant who identify as meat?
Who are you to say they’re not, good sir?
I had some beyond meat jerky the other day. A little chewy but otherwise it could have been any off brand somewhere between jack links and something less moist.
This is how I keep my cholesterol low. I am the pinnacle of American health.
I like it, you have to do your research on where you get it from though because a lot of companies put a lot of junk inside of it like they do with normal meat.
I have a app called Yuka that scans barcodes and tells you if it’s good or not.
