He wasn’t saying people with low post count shouldn’t give out likes. He was implying that you are liking your own posts on alts to make it look like your opinion is more popular than it is.

I mean, I guess that’s true as well. Some of them differed because of mana regenerating properties (Think Druids were pretty important due to Innervate being able to recharge people), but it still revolved on maintaining mana supplies.

Think the biggest separation from the rest of the mana users were Warlocks, who still had to make use of Soul Shards for their abilities.

All are still leagues better than trying to use DKs and Rogues, two resources and they each go different ways.

This is honestly how I felt when I saw Maelstrom, the third Balance druid change, and all the rest.

We can have differing resource managements that are not Rage Bars without relying on just Mana. We had many more before or just watching for purely procs/correct rotation, many things have become a resource generation bar.

Now, I will say it is likely easier to balance if all(most) classes operate under a fixed 100 resource bar in some way. I do not know this for sure, but it would seem easier to balance around a Bar then 20 something unique resource mechanics.

Lol, thanks, but that is OK. I have 50 (I guess 49) alts I could use if I really cared :stuck_out_tongue: I just seriously don’t get the appeal of posting on different toons unless you are showing off tmogs.

Never liked the Band-Aids on resource Regen thrown on in BC.

Judgement for Mana, SS for Mana, priest spell for Mana, holy pal Mana spell.

I don’t mind resource management styles of play as you have to pay attention to it unlike some Mana iterations where certain classes didn’t need to watch Mana usage and simply use a priority rotation and watch their auto timers and hit the highlited button. Neat

Certain Mana Regen tools were just maintenance fillers that got old. And trust, I want nothing to do with going back to wanding for DPS.

Op: I do agree they feel similar, but vanilla design is not the answer. Some of the best iterations of classes have been builder/spenders, so I’m not sure what they’d do differently, tbh.

You mean the unbalanced classes that made players turn around from pvp in general? Heck they get a lot of cool passives too compared to a warrior that was gutted from it. Cataclysm was the start and it went downhill for them since then. Sure we have a lot of damage to an certain extent, but we don’t have excess to survivability much besides super mario jump every 45 seconds unless of course talent. Our class ability we should have normally turned into a talent.

I don’t have a problem what caster classes turned out to be, but developers shouldn’t go haywire and forget about balance especially when it comes to pvp. I was in arena match yesterday and went against two paladins as a warrior. My partner was a and guess what happened? Immune barrier brigade! and it’s not like I could shatter thrown them anymore. No no no…developers here don’t like warriors doing that.

Kings of the battlegrounds and arms?? No no no not you warrior. You use your talents to survive while other classes will keep theirs as a normal ability. These developers sure love gutting classes they don’t care about. How are shamans doing? I heard they’re nonexistent in pvp.
