Yes, as I said, they are sentient sapient. That does not make them people. People are born from a mother, grow up, and eventually die. It is an integral aspect of humanity, mortality, and our understanding of what ‘people’ are. Not trying to get into a deep philosophical discussion on the nature of what is and is not a person here.
