Obviously more for higher keys. I run with a group of people and don’t even try to pug m+ at all. Mainly cause of all the times I read of people just getting kicked for playing the spec. I know the utility that feral brings to the group is pretty lackluster. I’m curious to know if people out there even give Ferals a or do you just avoid them. Really just curious what peoples reasons are for not even letting people try if that’s the case. There are good Ferals out there after all.
I know Ion said they were looking at the classes that were struggling and they did some work but it looks like the stigma is still there and not sure what can be done to fix it Since blizz seems to not be bothered by what is happening.
Funny to see balance get more and more buffs even though they seem to be quite strong already. I feel like ferals damage is close to balance it just doesn’t bring what balance can.
Too many words basically do you give Feral’s a chance or do you avoid them and why.
I happen to love ferals in my groups. Their AOE is pretty viable, and I love their bleeds. Plus, they are just cute to look at running around. I don’t see a valid reason why people would legitimately want to kick a druid, just for being feral. Everyone deserves a chance.
We’re amazing on single targets that don’t require a lot of switching targets, problem with that is so is pretty much everyone else AND they have decent multi target prowess to boot. Having to constantly switch targets or move around a lot, we suck.
Such as the Conclave bosses in BoD, if I were to chase down raptors my damage plummets more than anyone else, but if I were placed focus on the kill target by the end of the fight, I’m within the top 3-5 spots of damage done.
You can get into groups as any spec if your ilvl is at least appropriate for the keystone level. Definitely takes longer if you’re not a desired spec though. And no one is going to kick a DPS mid-run in a Mythic+ unless they plan on abandoning the key entirely. A bad DPS is better than no DPS, as you can’t replace people in M+.
I wouldn’t, if I still did mythic + of course, I haven’t touched a mythic + dungeon since BFA started, they’re incredibly boring now. But definitely wouldn’t kick a feral and I don’t think anyone should unless they’re pushing high keys in which it actually does start to matter what kind of classes/specs you bring. But Ferals should be fine for low-mid keys.
Oh jeeze. Is this a thing people are doing now?
:C Feral is so fun tho.
Good thing I did mine with my partner. Guess if I want to do any more, I’ll have to be with him D:
Yes. There isn’t a single Feral in the top 100 druid dps. The ratio of bad to good ferals is going to be significantly higher because good players are more likely to gravitate towards the best spec their class has, assuming it has multiple dps specs. Feral isn’t worthless, but it brings next to nothing compared to other melee dps. In a perfect game feral druids wouldn’t be declined for playing feral because it would be a balanced spec, but to expect people to sandbag their group is just selfish.
