Stuck at work “just in case something happens “ for next 8 hours - was wondering…
Do you have multiple characters of the same class?
I have currently 3 locks 3 mages 2 hunters and 3 paladins just because I enjoy leveling them and also different races.
Is this unique or does everyone do this?

Absolutely. I have over 60 characters:
9 paladins
5 mages
6 druids
2 death knights
2 monks
7 hunters
6 shamans
4 warlocks
11 warriors
5 priests
1 evoker
3 rogues
1 demon hunter
Those are the ones at least level 70. I’ve also got a couple just holding names and two newer alts at about level 30 - a warrior and shaman.

I do a lot of story telling in my head as I play so a Tauren pally feels very different from a Zandalari pally and so on.

I have 5 shammies

I guess I like them for leveling.
I do have at least two of every class. Most I have 1 per spec.

I have a couple dozen Vulpera Warriors, yes. As well as multiple(s) of every other class.
Yes, 47 total characters.
Depends on how much I like the class, basically, as to how many I have of each.
Plus, I have 2 Horde servers (one was PvP and one was PvE), and 1 Alliance server.
So, in many cases I would have 3 of each class.
6 Druids
5 Hunters
… most have 3 …
2 Demon Hunters
2 Monks
Yes but most of them are disposable mooks from Pandaria remix, or remnants of my transmog farming army.
Heh, I feel like I have to defend myself.
I used my alts for professions and have for years. So, I picked the easy BM hunter to level up and be a skinner/LW or a jewelcrafter or alchemy/inscription. Their job is to feed my main for raiding or higher end content that needs the min/max stuff.
nah maybe some to hold names
I have most classes both horde and alliance
I have 2
Locks
Pallys
Monks
hunter
Mages
Shamans
Druids
Priest
Warrior
Rogue
DKs
But I only have 1 Evoker cuz I loathe that spec.
Did in df a bit to cheese rewards. Deleted em
In tww so back to one per class
I have 3 of everything except Priest, which I only have 1 of, because Priests are terribly boring and not fun.
Yep, for horde and alliance. I did this so I could see all of the story on any class, including in expansions when horde/alliance questing is very different like BFA.
I have 2 maxed paladins right now (human and LF draenei). I was going to level another warrior but a few annoying TW dungeons later I was like nah maybe later.
11 characters and 3 of them are Ret Pallies >.>
Of course. Started doing it way back in Wrath. I was leveling my Darkspear Shaman, and after getting her air totem, fourth and final totem, I wondered “How do those space goats learn the Shaman ways?” And rolled both faction alts ever since.
Yes. Usually different races to focus on different specs. Most often when specs have completely different feels. Like I have a draenei shadow priest and blood elf holy priest and draenei MM hunter and night elf survival hunter.
