Do you have a date for Valentine's Day?

My husband and I agreed a long time ago to not celebrate the minor holidays. We don’t do Valentines, anniversaries, etc. Instead we have gone out to dinner every Friday for the last 42 years.

I like being in a relationship though. It hurts being alone.

St. Valentine in 2022… what for?
Auld Lang Syne.

Chapeau. Really, chapeau.

Celebrating by myself, gives me more money to blow how I see fit as a treat.

ME TOO!!!

My dating days are long past.

If you wanna talk about it, I’m here, just lemmie know

I hate this time of year. I had someone close to my heart and it end it heart break with therapy.

Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday and I usually have dinner at my parent’s house, so no date but definitely a good meal. Maybe I’ll offer to pick something up so they don’t have to cook.

Thank you for the in-game mail. I appreciate it greatly. It lifted me up a lot to know that a random stranger thought that much. If you ever want to run a random dungeon or just RP walk & chat through SW/ORG let me know.

Breakfast dates are awesome, especially if a Breakfast buffet is open.

I am too busy with work, grad school, hobbies, and the family business to try finding a girlfriend.

I refuse to use dating apps as my experiences are negative with them and they don’t attract the type of girls I would like to get to know.

I’m not looking for a girlfriend to just have fun. I would like to find someone i can grow with but it’s looking difficult honestly. I don’t think about it much.

I have been on a few dates before when I was in high school and college. I am now single, still looking for “The One”.

I purchased a few bottles of wine, brought home take out and proceeded to give an hour and a half head massage…and got iced again. Welcome to my doghouse.

every valentines day we never celebrate it in that sense for multiple reasons.

  1. i work as a cook in restaurants prior usually i am working that evening and trust me i KNOW how damn busy it gets. i even worked at a dead restaurant where a large chunk of the time the restaurant was just extremely slow maybe 5 customers for lunch and for dinner maybe about 30. on valentines this restaurant would be packed though which means basically people who couldn’t get reservations somewhere else came here probably last minute.

  2. valentines is my moms bday so typically we all spend it together as a family. most people that go out at the restaurants probably think we are weird eating dinner as a family we see tons of couples and what not and it’s just me and my sisters/parents.

  3. yes im usually single this coming year i won’t be though already seeing someone that i’ve known for a long time. idk if i will stay home though or what. my mom passed away so i do like to still try and spend time at home as she was cremated and her ashes are at home

  4. i never believed in the whole valentines day stuff. to me that is something people should do for each other year round doesn’t need to be fancy. i do it for my gf here and there and vice versa to show appreciation.

Watching idiots in cars for valentines day such as this one
