Do You Ever Regret Posting On GD?

I often regret more of what I read on GD than what I post.

I quite often post about eating Gnomes, though though it’s all in good humour and nothing serious

Anyway I might start eating Orcs since the goddess commands it

“all in good humour” … Your not the one walking around with a bite outta your tush!!

I regret nothing. The past is the past. You can’t change it, you can only learn from it.

Every time I’ve given Warrior advice I have regretted it. Warriors are a lot like guitar players.

Only times I’ve regretted my actions is when I got a vacation from said actions. If I could give one piece of advice don’t post while angry!

Nah, not really. These boards were fun, once upon a time, and I made (and lost) a fair amount of friends. I’d do it again.

You can’t always say what you really want to say in many instances, but you can give that look. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

But the one article of attire that is paramount to wear in an online forum is a duck feather bomber jacket. It repels teardrops like a duck’s back, and looks fabulous!

I don’t regret every time you come here

No, change it to Normal. You’ll only get a notification when your post has a reply or liked - not for all the posts.

I set it that way on my default preference.

That’s the problem.

People keep replying and replying and replying…

Since I muted it it’s been peaceful… Serene, even… Life is good… I am one with nature…

Oh it’s your own thread. Yeah, mute.

For everything else, set it in the preference. You won’t get the blue number all over the threads and fixes the “oooh, what now” clicking.

As long as WoW doesn’t add an Incel forum, i doubt anything will be regretful.

Also, Who is Walter

No, no no. It wasn’t mine. But I got a very early comment disagreeing with the doom and gloom. So now everybody who enters the thread replies to my comment telling me how doomy and gloomy everything is lol

You should start a thread, I bet it would be insightful.
Or inciteful.
Either way, hilarious!

It is tempting, but that road is filled with late blooming angst and devolves into soliloquies and then diatribes of the inner Walter Mitty

You’re just making me want this more.

I’m sure @Dreta regrets telling me how to share images right about now.

I’ll start the post and see how long it lasts.

Yes, I have regretted it just because it can drag you sooooo easily into bickering endlessly with someone who professionally argues in a forum.

Yes, there are well known people here who just spend their days arguing for argument sake and to blow their post count.

oh well
