Do you ever get on and just go. Uh

The problem is getting myself to focus on writing goals or making a checklist.

You have to Zug if you want to Zug.
Zug lyfe!

I think the checklist would be the easiest way to go. You can just do some brain-storming kind of thinking and scribble down whatever comes to mind. If you like achieves, maybe look through those for ones you haven’t done that you’d like to get and write them down. Then whenever you log in and don’t know what to do, take a look at your list and pick something. If you’re having trouble deciding, use an RNG. Physical dice are what my sister likes to use, to bring back those old-time D&D vibes.

I feel you! As I’ve gotten older, I’ve started thinking more about the hereafter. I get up, walk into a room and think to myself “what the heck am I here after?” :sunglasses:

Oh yea,i got 10 characters with their 4 piece and double leggos, just a casual playes i go days without logging in,but i still love this damn game

yes. this feeling is called burnout op. everyone gets it in some form or another. take a break if you must.

Its shadowlands.

Unless you have old reps to burn, not much to do.

Yes but only because CRZ exists and scaling exists, and every trash decision Blizz has made to turn outdoor wow into a bucket of hot steaming Dracthyr :poop: exists
Not because I can’t figure out what to do, that’s always easy lol.

How do I solve it? I play other games that aren’t wow during downtime. That helps more than anything. Variety is a good thing. So is Guild Wars 2, tbh.

Find the one thing that looks the coolest to collect. And/or spend the least amount of effort to get fomo at the last minute (most usually not get it tho).

After that, quit for a bit and do irl things.

I tried for about 9 months with my main hunter and this one(sorta) - it just doesn’t fly anymore. At least for me. It’s too bad, but moving on helped. I didn’t think it would and still would try to log in. Sometimes I spent a day having fun, but at the end the systems and currencies and community … nah. Just my in put. When you open the game and just can’t hit that “play” button :unamused: Took me a long time to realize it was over. Then actually grieve the loss for a little while. In the end it’s the game’s trajectory and the snooty high-end players that ruined it. If you need a thousand and one add-ons just to stay competitive, even in regular open world when players can one shot things before you have a chance … not enough nice people left.

Wishing you the best of luck though :butterfly:

I really dont have that problem… but you can set goals before you log in , like you wanna run keys and etc… maybe write it down

Oh yeah and that’s usually when I go back and start playing guild wars 2 or elder scrolls online and then half the expansion later I come back

When it happens to me I switch to a neglected alt to level. And if that still happens with that alt, call it a day/night and catch up on some manga or Webtoon with a Youtube video running for background noise.

trade chat keeps me entertained when i stand around doing nothing which is quite often.

All the time. Most often right as I ascend from dulcet unconsciousness.

I’m like this every day I log in.

I’m here ,

Basically this. It’s very common to be in that mindset right now, but just a few more months and we’ll all be swamped with new stuff to do. Hang in there.

I know dear buddy! Just a quick farewell - no use writing a goodbye thread as no one is really left to notice. But since I’ve got you for a sec :hugs: as after three attempts I’m letting my sub run out - ironically on my birthday in the first week of September. Though probably will try out DF at some point. Take care & catch ya on the flip side :butterfly:
