But until then ill jump around paladin and shaman are my top played. Mained balance in shadowlands and has a blast so trying it out now.
Main goal is a fun class in blitz. Funny enough i have played any ret but that might change
I tend to rotate based on my groups needs, which often means I’m a new class every major patch…
Maybe every five years or so, if that.
If my main gets reworked into something unfun and bad there’s just no point.
Nowa days yes because of the talent trees and because raiding and dungeons have become predictable and samey for the past decade.

No… From Vanilla to the end of Dragonflight, my main was a Guardian/Feral Druid. Only in TWW did I switch to this character as my Main.
They must have seen what a pro hunter you are for recognizing Barrage as a dead talent.

I mained this Druid during WoTLK, then a human Mage and this Druid. Legion gave me my DH which I still consider my secondary main today. All in all, this is my main and always will be. I always joke that I would respond to Leoley like my name in public if someone called it out lol. I had this name in EQ all the way back in 2004 so it has stuck.
My dad also went by his character name in real life sometimes as a nickname so I guess that’s my family’s little nerdy culture haha.
i have changed main as of yesterday
i was so sure of maining evoker and druid but now i have switched to DK melee and still considering priest for the ranged, heal or melee healer like monk

Sometimes, it depends on the expansion, patch and other factors — Like the overall themes, the playstyles of the current classes & how they’re doing etc.
Would’ve loved if they played more into that, or gave Shamans a unique questline but eh whatever … Maybe in ‘The Last Titan’ after Midnight? 
That being said, I always try dabble back on my priest at least somewhat, no matter who I’m maining more-so at the time 
After all, my priest is my go-to main for the most part lol
My classes in Legion got a lot of widespread attention thanks to the unique class-questlines, class mounts and unique appearances each of them received – It was a load of fun. I haven’t really delved as heavily across the board & stretched as far into progression across most my classes across my account since then — but I still get a toon or few up on the throne. 
I’ve played this Shaman all expansion.
I started WOW in vanilla as a gnome rogue, even though I was horrible at it I had fun. After the next few expansions I mainly played hunter class this hunter. I’ve made many alts to goof off with then delete them but this Hunter and my OG rogue are always on my account however I haven’t played my og rogue since vanilla.
I’ve tag teamed between mage and warrior since Legion. They’re co-leads at this point, I guess. I pick one they’re the main for the expansion.
Haven’t had a main since Wrath, which was my first DK. Played him for the longest time, then got sucked into DH for Legion.
BfA was when I really started hopping around. DH didn’t feel the same after Legion and forced DW on FDK’s during legion really soured the experience for me. Ended up rolling a BM Hunter for BfA and spent a lot of time collecting exotic pets and playing raids, with a rogue on the side for PvP.
Missed SL and DF, and TWW I can’t say I’ve spent enough time on any one toon to consider it a main. Midnight I’m thinking Paladin or DH. DK’s and their mogs might make me change my mind though
I always main spriest but whenever it stops getting invited to push keys I just move to Hunter since it’s ez a one spec is always good. Hate it but 3 spec bm Hunter is pumping so had to lol
Yes. Especially this last season. I placed my huntress on the bottom of my character list, I’ll delete her soon. I got so bored playing a huntard. I still can’t settle on a new main. I’m excited for the new orc troll race
