i agree- do away with m+ loot. that way, Esports would be on a similar basis and pushing higher key levels would actually mean more. think you’re special because you completed at +16 in your common gear? well that group over there just did a +18 in basically the same gear. they’re more special than you!

well, if you hadn’t interrupted, it would’ve been 4.
No, it’s never been like that. Welcome to M+ run the same dungeons thousands of times over the course of an expansion it’s so “fun”.
M+ should be procedurally generated dungeons to keep things fresh - maybe they keep boss encounters but switch it up so maybe your facing one boss from this dungeon, one from this etc

Or… we can go with a happy medium where we extend what systems are applied to PvP or raids with seasonal themed loot to go along with the season themed affix.
“It’s never been like that, therefore we should throw out everything and start over completely” is a take I guess but doesn’t really think that’s something Blizzard will or has to do.

A lot of good points in this thread. Spice up mythic plus with different loot please!
To be honest, randomly generated dungeons mixed with enemies of varies 5-man dungeons content could be fun. They could even use that to bring back older 5-man dungeons bosses/mobs too.

Wotlk, cata, mop and the first season of wod were unique appearances

That is false, but I am not going to argue with ppl on that. Even if true. More then 80% of pvp gear are recolors. It does not change the arguement.

Alright name me which raid drops the recolour of these sets
hateful, savage, deadly, furious, relentless, wrathful, bloodthirsty, vicious, ruthless, cataclysmic, dreadful, malevolent, tyrannical, grievous, prideful, primal all don’t have a raid equivalent btw

It’s the same content, so it’s not surprising that it’s the same loot.

Buddy peeps just want more variety in repetitive content, more dev time spent on our rewards, and systems intended to be fun instead of maximizing grinds and testing our grind/repetition tolerance
Overall requesting more player value from M+, it is solid feedback
M+ could easily be made more fun and repeatable if they give it some more dev time instead of minimizing it

100% this! I’m all about more player value!
New items with ilvl 278 and old items brought up to ilvl 278 are the exact same thing with a different name tag. OP wants transmogs. We have 9 expansions of transmogs. What is the point of devs spending extra time and resources on renaming items instead of just bumping up the ilvl/stats when it is going to be the same result?

Then don’t do repetitive content? It is not supposed to reward you much beyond dropped loot with higher ilvl. Also the problem of making mythic sets is that it creates a more higher entry level to get into raids. Do you really want that? Do you want to be forced to grind a set to drop from mythic that you need to have in order to even be allowed to raid in an already bad loot drop system?
Buddy you’re making a lot of assumptions about how stuff ‘would have to be’ that aren’t really true
Maybe you’ve normalized some of their stuff as an undeniable foundation or something
M+ could easily have lots more variety, lots more rewards, and be a lot more popular but it requires more dev time from bliz which, under current leadership, seems to be the exact opposite of what they want to do

Your M+ homework for this week/today is to time an 18, or deplete a 19. This would leave you with a 15 key for the new season.

The amount of “this is how it’s always been” to justify getting less is honestly depressing lol blizzard really wants you to expect nothing extra and like it

Adding more gear makes it harder to farm the stuff that you want out of those places. There is already enough worthless stuff in M+.
Wait a second, wait a second, are you arguing against Blizzard adding new content to the game because content exists in the game? This is a live service game, we pay money for Blizzard to develop new content for it.
You’re trolling a bit here right?
