Or do you have to re-summon them after every death?
Resummon, put up buffs, make stones…then drink and eat, only then are you ready to ride out into battle.

Try shadow priest, by the time you put up fortitude, inner fire…etc, and activate shadow form, you have to sit down and drink and eat, unless you wanna start a fight way short on both…which is highly unacceptable in my book.
I think demons work the same as hunter pets.
If you die and your pet is alive it should res with you but if you die and your pet was dead you’ll have to resummon.
