Do the people who developed hero talents talk to the people who want to remove addons?

So here’s my line of thinking:

I would guarantee some developers talk to those for the removal of addons, but not for the sake of simply ridding them. They would undergo analysis of how it would maintain server stability between the client and user. There are some addons out there that are naughty and break things. Some addons live out too long and need a replacement.

Though if I were to be a developer, I would want a certain thread to get referenced by a addon author. Which I’m sure they’re on here too.

Only 1 of my hero specs adds any buttons at all, and it’s just something you press at the same time as your major CD.

???

Most hero talent trees are entirely passive.

95% of them are passive lol

I am confused. What button bloat do the hero subspecs add? Aren’t they all passive abilities? The most they might do is simply change an existing spell into a different spell but that just replaces a button it doesn’t add 2? Unless some class has something that isn’t just passives? I haven’t played them all.

I think the DK ones do. IDK about the others.

Are there any DKs mad they can use horse in combat though?

“Oh no, the horrendous bloat! How dare Blizzard give us mobility!”

I am not certain that one exists. I feel like if it wasn’t for hyperbole most OP’s wouldn’t create a thread…

Likely too hard for the current devs to make a new ranged class that doesn’t break the game.

Actually, bowmen were incredibly strong. Pick up a British longbow and try to draw the string.

Sub classes, by their nature, would completely change everything.

That’s if they hit you.

Longbows being agility or dexterity weapons in every game ever even though strength is far more important for longbows than it is for most melee weapons.

I want the game to be more complex.

what are you talking about?

If you want some brainless easy game go play hello kitty or something.

If anything dexterity should be more relevant to swords than strength, since you need to be able to nimbly change grip and pivot the blade in tune with your enemy’s momentum (i.e. actual combat, rather than the exaggerated swings seen in most games).

Never mind that all Hero trees are maybe one new ability (that often replaces or upgrades-on-proc an existing one) and a buttload of themed passives.

It’s almost like they knew going into the design of Hero Trees that most classes are already on the verge of having too many buttons and tried to avoid adding more when possible.

My only issue with hero talents is that some of them require a base talent to work. I don’t care if taking Bladestorm is most optimal anyway, having two of my hero talents literally do nothing if I don’t have it is anathema to the idea of choice.
