People are welcome to different opinions. I think you’d see a mass exodus of players if the factions were deleted, personally. People identify with them. They mean something, for better or for worse.
I don’t think it’s fair to pressure people into agreeing with any one perspective. We’re a group of players with our own priorities and interests. We don’t need to reach consensus here - only blizzard has the power to change this.
