I would give you the same advice, I showed you a bunch of data from wowprogress and you just blew it off.
4 realms. Iâm talking about overall.
How many Cutting Edge Alliance guilds do you want?
Give us a number.
The problem isnât only raiding. Its the overall population and other modes.
Ion said the overall population is even.
Ion stated population numbers across factions is quite balanced.
Population wise is healthy. Specific game modes, is where the issue is.
Itâs not nit picking specific realmsâŚ
Oceanic region, is hugely Alliance dominated and isnât great EU more Alliance then horde although the gap isnât as bigâŚ
Itâs truely down to player preference, like looking at this from a developers perspective, it truely is players choice, why would they make changes then to make Oceanic and EU further in Alliance?.. these posts make no sense, you canât just make region specific changesâŚ
Might I add playing on Oceanic, Alliance players are LaughingâŚthey get all these Warmode Bonuses, and out number horde 10 to 1âŚ
These issue now is just players in different regions prefer different factions.
There was a post on reddit awhile back with data showing it 60/40 in raids favoring horde. This was back in Uldir and as someone who has recruited for both factions across the expansion the alliance side was by far the worst off in terms of finding quality players.
Iâd also add that on the U.S. West Coast, itâs pretty balanced as well. The two biggest servers are Tichondrius & Proudmoore, by far. One is Horde, the other is Alliance.
If Alliance is doing poorly, itâs largely an East/Central time zone U.S. phenomenon. Unfortunately, their players are VERY loud on this forum.
It just mind boggles me, people like the OP demand changes when not looking at the whole pictureâŚ
Which is the issue Iâm arguing. Alliance raiding, quality players is dwindling; because theyâre gravitating to Horde, as thatâs where the majority of quality players are. Not a hard concept to see or understand, once youâve been Raid Leading and Recruiting for a guild for 4 / 5 years and see the trend.
Spreadsheets donât tell the fully story. We hamper on blizzard about only looking at Spreadsheets, why are we giving the pass to them here?
This simply isnât true, the number of Alliance raiders transferring to Horde is trivial compared to the vast number of Alliance raiders who are quitting the game. (And Horde raiders, too.)
3 of the top guilds on my server are going horde in shadowlands for this reason.
There is an issue with the lack of high end players for alliance. It is true there are more waaaaay more horde than alliance at the high end. A little concerning.
But there is no feasible fix for blizzard IMO, other than make alliance racials uberpowerful.
But gave you guys night elves and foxesâŚ
It is true, no one is swapping to alliance. But people are swapping to horde. Not a lot, but it is happening.
Its literally been like this for a while now, and now we see what happens after people have been slowly moving over for years now.
Really?
Thatâs absurd. While raiding isnât just about gear, gear fuels progression.
This change will hurt the average guild just to stop armor stacking alt raids.
People DO swap to Alliance, though. Weâve had at least 4 players this expansion, who couldnât make our raid times anymore due to work changes, that ended up moving to Alliance guilds.
Well there will always be exceptions. But i think its safe to say more high end players are swapping to horde, then to alliance.
And I think people are afraid its going to keep snowballing and get worse.
Yep, Ion said in an April 9 interview that less loot will drop in Shadowlands raids.
