Keep in mind that minimum wage in California is currently $13.00 (almost the Federal minimum)

Actually the Federal Minimum is only $7.25 /hour . Only 15 states go by it most have their own set Min and is above it . 11 states (including D.C. ) are $11 and above the rest are between just above Fed min and $10.96/ hr (Vermont)
