Just kite them bro. Bout as useful as interrupt sometimes
Curses were a huge part of Warlock’s identity, and really helped set them apart from just being a reskin of Mage, even if that Lock was Destro which was the most Mage-like spec it got
I think it’s good to have curses put back in, and having more of a place in their rotations
I will be glad not to have to use a talent for Curse of Doom anymore.
Uh, like, no. I want my curses back for my Warlocks.
Dont add something to the game because I, as a single individual, do not want it back.
Yeaaaaaaaaaa…leme know how that works out for ya bud
Don’t see the problem with curses, indirect damage and debuffs always suited warlocks better than gobs of direct damage.
A-OK with nerfing or removing Gpyro with the condition that the spec is adjusted so its sustained output is better. Without Gpyro fire mage output is dead for several seconds after the initial huge burst which isn’t fun at all – if that initial burst gets fouled up we have to either retreat or reset and hope that it actually buys us enough time for another try. I really don’t like this aspect of the current fire design.
You don’t want more options? Is this like at the end of MoP when people were trying to justify removing abilities because they couldn’t figure out how to use them?
op is crying because some of them buff other people. imagine being that guy. lol. demo is about to be much better than it’s been.
Afflock feels too magey for me altogether after their changes.
They should have put Life Tap on a talent so those of us who like it could still have it. even if it was lined up with better talents at least it’d be there as an option.
I havent liked playing it since it was removed. May as well just play demlock. At least it has personality.
You are not a true lock if you don’t want them. I played my lock in Vanilla then came back on a new account (this one) in early TBC and made a lock as my first toon there. And… I like curses.
i wonder if the thing that gives you sp is coming back for demo and shaman? theoretically it should be a totem that comes back for shaman but i wonder if we’ll get it back too?
/laughs in warrior.
I am SO stoked about shattering throw returning. Time to get ready for some pvp again. ![]()
i know. i’m happy for you guys that you’re getting some class identity back, truly i am. but i pvp as a holy pally most of the time so… cries
Part of an MMORPG is using spells that help one’s group.
There’s no such thing as a ‘pure dps’ class, it was a myth back in vanilla as well and I often used to point that out.
It’s okay… I feel your pain as I also play a holy pally quite a bit.
Warriors will have some utility again though! It’s glorious.
+1
While true, DPS + utility is still pretty different from DPS + Heal, DPS + Tank, or DPS + Heal + tank
the main problem i have is that while most priests seem to have no idea what mass dispel does… the average warrior knows to pop bubble. XD
Curses bufff other players abilities at a cost of another dot with no damage or so little its pointless. locks don’t need another dot to maintain. locks will return to being debuff B!tches and i dont’ want more gcd’s dedicated to maintaining a dot that does nothing besides make other people stronger.
then play a different class. i imagine a lot of classes are going to get this kind of utility back in the expansion though so you may have to wait for pre patch to decide what to reroll as.
Having both this guy and a dorf pally at 120 my observation is that priests very frequently Mass Dispel my Ice Block but rarely bother with my bubble, which is funny because it’s more important to dispel the pally – he can run away but the mage can’t.
