You know, I thought to myself that there was no way you could misread what I wrote and that typing out the phrase:
“as you acknowledged my view to be.”
would be overkill and unnecessary, however, it looks like I was wrong. My mistake for assuming remotely good faith here!
Remember that time I referred to the AP grind as a big feature of Legion and you tried claiming that I was talking about the drop rate and RNG surrounding legendaries?
Talking about dishonestly putting words into peoples’ mouths is rich coming from you.
I explained, in detail, what it actually was and where you got it wrong, either from stupidity or dishonesty. The fact that you’re replying without actually addressing anything said is a giant vindication.
This is a very Reddit phrase. Balding millennial men talk like this on the internet. Do not be like them. Reclaim your hairline.
What’s odd is that in FFXIV they always add 1 major city, 1 “hub” city and 6 zones per expansion. Have done that since the first expansion. Yet we frequently find excuses to go back to old expansions areas. Way more then we do in WoW. Though I did like that Legion had us do that quite a bit. With level scaling in WoW they could make lots of old content relavent again. Also all old dungeons and raids remain relavent to a degree past doing them. I do wish you could scale your level done for over-world content though.
I’m hoping for WOD next. I quit it earlier than any other xpac and never returned. I’ve been farming old content and every time I try to do WOD I just don’t get wtf I’m supposed to do and just go do something else.
I wouldn’t mind a WoD remix, especially if they kept the bonus objectives that helped you level super fast. There are some cool mounts and mogs that I would enjoy grinding for recolors of, so I’m down for it.
Legion was my second favorite expansion though, so I’d love that as well, especially if they put some class mount recolors for all classes for bronze as well, like we have the world boss mounts for MoP. There are quite a few mogs from Legions dungeons and raids I don’t have yet as well, so I’d love a different way to get them, plus any recolors.
Wod had a lot of leveling content. It wasn’t enough for a full expansion as so many things were cut, but it definitely has enough for a short-term remix.
I liked legion too, I would love to get the chance to get the last druid form that I was not able to get. Within that stupid long questline, but Wod was also a very good expansion. (And we could see the return of the Saberon form if they did WOD, personal druid want)
I’m probably alone on this, but I’m already done with what I wanted from MoP Remix, and we still have a bit over 2 months to go. If we got 90 days of WoD remix, it would go stale SO fast (for me, anyway).
Adding: World quests were novel, Legendaries finally felt fun and accessible, titanforging made every piece of content potentially useful, AP made for a nice horizontal power path, AWs and Class Halls were peak fantasy, Mage Tower was a great addition.
The main failure of Legion was introducing M+ (subjective though) and how it did not go through with the AWs.
Legion was WoW’s peak and I’m dying on that hill.
If we ever get permanent classic servers for each expansion, Legion is where I’ll be finishing my WoW days.
Edit: WoD sucked for the prune, but it was the last time PvP content (not balance, balance sucked as usual. Thanks, Holinka) felt rewarding/got any relevant attention, even if Ashran was… that.
They could also just add infinite dragonflight content and have it fully fit with the time travel nature of the expansion anyway.
I really like the idea of taking the normal functionalities away from the garrison and making improving your garrison be the cloak equivalent, and just have that scale infinitely. Why yes I do have a level 923 mines, thanks for asking!
I was thinking they may just make a “remix” of everything. Idk how hard that would be, but theoretically it could be the replacement of chromie time. Though if they went that route I would hope they would allow you to leave when you hit max level at least instead of a timeframe type deal.
The only thing that makes me hesitant is that would probably take a lot of resources to accomplish.
I could also see that thinning the population a lot over different content, so idk if it would be a good idea on those grounds either.
I have to agree with skipping WoD. I love questing there but the lack of content is major, unless they plan to add things to it. Legion had a ton to do and just working on class hall cosmetics would be well worth it.
