Do Legion raid bosses scale by number of raid members?

For example, Krosus in 10-man Heroic has about 2 million health when I solo him. Is that his health in 10-man Heroic regardless of the number of players in the group, or will his health increase dramatically if there are 7 or 8 in the raid? And does the same hold for all Legion raids at all difficulties?

AFAIK Legion raids aren’t in legacy mode yet, so the normal rules apply.

Normal / Heroic scale from 10 to 30 (so going from 1 to 7 won’t make a difference, but 10 to 17 will). Mythic is locked at 20.

Thank you!

Raids from SoO to now, for normal and heroic scale from a minimum of 10 to a max of 30. LFR raids from SoO to now scale from 10 to 25, however the system for current xpac raids (so Uldir, BoD and CoS) tries to keep it at 25 players at all times.

So no, bringing 10 or below people won’t change the health of the bosses for any raid that is from SoO or after.

All legacy loot mode does for raids is that the bosses from SoO to HFC drop the max loot number you would get if you had a full group for LFR, normal and heroic. (This does include Black temple and Ulduar due to timewalking)

So even a boss like Garrosh would still scale in health and damage if you bring more than 10 people for those 3 difficulties.

Yes the hp scales by the number of people you have, the scaling by default starts off with party numbers so 1 tank, 1 healer, and 3 dps, then it multiplies by this number. So 10 man would be 2 tanks 2 heals, and 6 dps, then the hp goes up, for every member you add after this, the other spots must be filled in for the healer, and to fill them you need 3 dps per healer, so the next hp bump is set for 2/3/9, and the next hp bump for 2/4/12 (which is what average groups go with).

You don’t have to go with said number of healers you can go with whatever you want, but essentially, hp bumps happen as such 10 man - base, 14 man - bump, 18 man - bump, 22 man - bump.
