World PvP will be short lived, as soon as BG’s release kiss it all goodbye.
Thats fine by me. a couple months of raiding and world pvp to pass some time before Bg’s and BWL drops sounds liek the perfect environment to bank gold and level alts and twinks in.
But lvl 100s won’t be able to access Classic battlegrounds anyway?

Lol no life raider huh? I work a full time job have a new born baby and a wife and down ony and rag and have enough time to grind consumables every week as a shadow priest. And yes I am the most geared shadowpriest currently on alliance grobbulus.

At this point the game is already in maintenance mode. Time gated content doesn’t mean that they’re doing anything besides fixing bugs.
Dude until Classic Blizzard hasn’t had a win since forever, you can be damn sure they will be milking this moment for as long as possible… expect P3 next Spring at earliest… they know everybody will come back to play it… so what incentive do they have to rush…
The no BGs until phase 3 really sucks, I will be unsubbing until then. It’s really sad because they missed a great opportunity. The low level battlgrounds would have been really fun while everyone was leveling, however when they are finally released it’s going to be twinks only, the winning team will be the one who has the fewest non-twinks.

The problem is, most of us who played classic, leveled with bgs already out. I remember min maxing at level 34 so I could perform better in bgs, best time of my life, it was the only thing i wanted to do.
Also the original release of classic wasn’t the same as this release. Not everyone immediately played classic when it originally came out, like the re-release.
City raids are rare. The game doesn’t really support them( crashes no loot, disruption for people leveling etc)
The real question is : if these are so satisfying and awesome then why didn’t they survive as you say, after BGs were introduced?
And it goes back to my main point. People have spoken. BGs are more popular. If you need artificial time gating to get a captive audience then its a fraud. Just like the rose tinted memories of the past people seem to be having.
Use your classic character. We don’t believe you.
I hate making sweeping, blanket statements and try to point out that I don’t literally mean EVERYONE. So I try to convey that without coming off as a jerk. It’s like when people say “you”, but they mean “anyone as a general statement”, not “you, personally”. I’m not trying to offend anyone, just trying to make an observation
