With the tank meta and all, I am starting to regret leveling a as a non tank class for remix (honestly should have known better, after MoP remix). Theoretically, can’t you just keep building enough vers to no longer get oneshot? I have very limited experience with mythic+ and just want the transmog.

Easily yes. At only 200 vers you take 99% reduced damage. And vers goes up to 1000% for the damage and healing portion.

Should be able to casually farm enough to get to that point. As stated I think the versatility will have the most impact. Having 740 ilvl may help a little, but isn’t going to be the tool that gets you past the heavy damage.

By the way math works, more raids means more power per day. When more raids are released you’d be able to go into more of them and you will be skyrocketing your versatility for each one.
I did a plus 15 as a DPS with less than 20 verse, and the only thing that killed me was the tanks pulling the entire dungeon which meant no interrupts as they were trying to clear the dungeon in 10 minutes instead of the normal time limit.
By 50 vers, playing normally should be able to handle it easy but if the group is pulling like madmen, 100+ vers seems to be the ideal.
If the plan is to solo it, just keep getting more verse until the last few weeks and then you’d probably just steamroll it.

We are currently aware of the tank meta in high level Mythic+ keystones and have some targeted buffs for damage dealing and healer specializations coming with the release of Phase 2 on Tuesday.

Exactly. Go back to TWW, those numbers are probably down since Turbo Boost is also timegated.

Generally in software development when someone says “we have X ready”, it means “we have a general idea that we’re finetuning”, not that it’s easy to deploy with a button.
Given that the solution to this problem likely requires more than a simple change, it’s not surprising that it’ll take a week.

yes, dont play at all and fall behind in ilvl and not get accepted to groups because of that.
Im guessing they want to do it solo?
As a DPS theres 3 to a group so every group that clears a M+ 3 DPS are clearing it.
So yeah DPS have 3x the chance over tanks to clear M+
But this is Remix and soloing high level content is a thing so…
** didnʻt really think about the “Invite who you want” aspect of M+, as i dont do that content.
Can you invite say a group of 5 tanks?
That could be the issue if so
3-manned a +31 with a DH dps and a druid tank. it’s very possible.

No no no, they have much bigger issues than that to fix, they had to take away the sparklekitty and armbears so that nobody will ever see them again since most of the players from Legion have quit or died.
