Despite Petkick’s hyperbole of Death’s Advance and Chains of Ice being a really potent slow (50% slow vs 70% slow is significantly noticeable), I still think it’s kinda BS that Wraith Walk and Death Pact are mutually exclusive and we have Sacrificial Pact that slaps us in the face.
If DA is that good, perhaps Ghost Wolf is good also. DA passive does not make you immune to slows, you just can’t be slowed below 70%. You raise this threshhold by 100% and immune to knockback which is effectively, yes, while it does technically make us immune to slows, any slows we gain during active DA will be negating our bonus movement speed.
… and idk about you guys with Druids but I can still slow them if they’re cheeky enough to use their global on removing it. More value for me against druids… if only now they make NS work with Death’s Due…
CoI costing a rune for a 70% slow is warranted. If it gets nerfed to 50%, you might as well remove the rune cost because you need runes to deal reliable damage as RP abilities are mostly filler abilities that benefits some specs more than others. It’s a very potent slow that costs a rune for a reason and it’s not a fun thing to get on the receiving end.
